Continuing to explore my hypothesis that you can find amazing burritos in literally every California community, I checked out Silva's Taco Shop on a drive between my San Diego office and a jail outside of Yuma. Silva's was the only taco shop in this area that had a 4.5, which is the cut off for a well reviewed fast food place.This was a hash brown/egg/cheese/beans combo where you could add a meat. I added ham and said no to the beans on the theory that it would be a scoop of refried beans, this being the San Diego area. It was hot and fresh, the tortilla was solid and I liked the amount of cheese and how it combined with the hash brown. The egg was uninspired but that's normal. The hot sauce was standard for the area. It was a huge size, no way I could have eaten the whole thing without a fork and knife so I just threw away the last third of it.The restaurant was clean and the cashier was cheerful. It's about a half mile from the 8. I got a breakfast burrito with carne asada. It was the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. And the red sauce is amazing. I don’t live here but I’ll be sure to stop by again.It was easy to park and the service was real fast.

I ordered the machaca breakfast burrito & it came wrapped with either two flour tortillas or it was wrapped with an extra large tortilla that made the burrito chewy. Large chunks of tortilla kept getting stuck in my teeth.I ordered two large carne asada taco’s a couple days before and they were very good and satisfying.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a designated table near the entrance for wheelchair accessibility.

I love this taco shop, I’ve been coming here for years now. I would recommend it 10/10. It is by far the most consistent one around. The food is always outstanding. The customer service is always the best it could be. I ALWAYS have plenty of salsa, napkins & utensils as well!! Every-time I go the gentleman at the front counter is always very nice. They always make my food exactly as I order it. As well as affordable!! I have NEVER had a BAD experience here. Thank you so much Silvas!! :)

Just visited family in San Diego they recommended this place wow I had a carna asada burrito packed with carna delicious my wife had the carna asada sopes delicious my daughter had the carna asada fries delicious her boyfriend had a california burrito were from LA and next time we go to Diego we're eating here again great
