Sombrero Mexican Food

Grande Tostado was HORRIBLE. A cup of sour cream. Old nasty tasting chicken. A ton of gross melted cheese on the bottom underneath with a few refried beans all stuck into cheese. Shell was burnt & greasy. Whole experience at $15 was a nightmare. Absolutely DISGUSTING. I will never eat there again nor recommend for anyone to go there, only recommend for them to NOT eat there. Just disgusting.

I used to love this place. But the pre packaged salsas are not gonna work for me You can taste some weird preservative. Bring back the cups of salsa.

Called at 7:15 this morning to order 200 breakfast burritos after the caterer fell through. The team got us done in 90 minutes. Awesome staff on such short notice. Thank you for saving the day!

5:45 am Sunday Oct.20th, 2024. Laura who had worked all night greeted us with a smile and kindness. Who could ever ask for more? Two great Breakfast burritos to get us on the road from San Diego to Los Angeles was all we needed! Sombreros is so consistent, even before 6 AM.

I love the flavor of sombreros beans. My favorite is a bean and cheese burrito smothered with enchilada sauce! Plus they have a delicious salsa bar. My favorite location is on the corner of Washington and 2nd Street in El Cajon. Nice clean, beautiful restaurant. Super nice ladies working here.
