Went here for breakfast once. The sweet potato pancakes are so good, I highly recommend it!Really good hash browns, bacon, and ham slices.. the sausages were kind of spicy and oily. The sunny side up eggs were also really runny.Great service also.

The place could use a interior renovation. But the food quality and portions are awesome. It is always 2-3 meals for me and plenty for my husband's meal. The service is great and if you stop by a few times they remeber you. I am always asked about my dog.

My boyfriend and I chose to give this place a try since it was the cheapest in the area. Yes even cheaper than IHOP and Denny's. It would be about the same in quality. But I was wrong.I give props to the service. They were very nice, friendly, and attentive. Actually some of the best costumer sevice I've had in a while.Looking at the menu not only would you think you're at the Omelet Factory not the Pancake House. But you would understand the poor quality of food. There's way to much and no congruity.I decided to get the MonteCristo sandwich. It came with eggs. My boyfriend had the French toast. My scrambled eggs were cold. The sandwich was not a montecristo. What I had was a few pieces of lunch meat ham, a peice of melted Swiss chesse, in between 2 slimy soggy slices of french toast. I'm 43 and I've never sent back food. I grew up and lived most my life lower income, even homeless for a couple years. Because of that I get anxiety at the thought of food waste. However I couldn't eat it at all. They kindly allowed me to order something different.I ordered a biscuit and sausage gravy plate. The food was hot this time. The 2 items that were good - biscuits were a 5 stars (probably the best I've had) and the sausage. But everything was else bland. Gravy had no sausage tasted like cream. the potatoes were under cooked and No onions or peppers in them.My conclusion is if they cut the menu and focus on fewer things with similar ingredients they could make better food.

Very bad experience, we witnessed an old waitress being super rude and unprofessional with one of the hostess.Ruined our meal and day.I called the manager when we got home because the hostess is a vulnerable person hopefully something was done

My grandson (8 yrs old) wants to give The Pancake House 5 stars! They have yummy, hot fluffy fries and delicious ice cream. They brought he and his little sister coloring pages and Lots of crayons. He also thought our waitress was funny and very pretty! (Rene)

Food presentation was good. However the scrambled eggs were either powdered or something else because they had some crazy aftertaste. The French toast was terrible due to them being dipped in whatever was passing for scrambled eggs. Service was good. Water stayed full. The pancakes were not impressive. Overall the experience was not good.

Best place for breakfast in East County !! Friendly, outstanding staff, amazing food (as in everything on their menu is delicious)...and this place doesn't just do breakfast!! Lunch-covered...dinner, got that too!!Don't let the name fool you...if you drive by and don't stop, you are missing out.We usually go there for breakfast (because it is out of this world amazing) but tonight (12/16/2023) we went for dinner...so good. If you tend to eat dinner early, this is where to go...but be there by 4 or 5pm cuz they close at 6!!2024 has not slowed this place down at all. Still the best place to grab an amazing breakfast at a great price.. Service is always amazing here, super friendly and you will never leave hungry from here.Vegetarian options: This place had options for everyoneDietary restrictions: On a diet??? The staff at The Pancake House can accommodate your needs. Tell them what you want and if it is possible for them to make it they will. Plenty of diet friendly choices to choose from.Parking: It's not a huge parking lot, holds maybe 30-40 cars including 2 disabled parking spots right in front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu, even picky eaters can tantalize their palates here.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair friendly seating inside

We always have great service here. We always get the crepes, and an omelet :) The food is good too, and love their military discount.

The food was very poor quality. Toast came out cold with no butter, hash browns tasted frozen and dehydrated, pancakes were tough, omelettes were bland, just all around not good and it was all 3 meals... The service was not good either. When they brought the food they mixed up who got hash browns and who got country potatoes (mind you it's on the same plate as the omelettes so it wasn't an easy swap) the waitress said oh yeah they did mix it up and walked away. Didn't offer a solution or anything. At least an extra plate we can push the hash downs on to swap. They were disgusting anyways so neither were eaten. Never got waters, asked for flavored creamer and never got it. We asked for syrup and she said she'd bring it, after waiting awhile we saw her again and asked and she gave attitude saying "yeah I'm getting it" There was maybe 5 tables with at least 5 employees on the floor. They we're not busy at all. Seriously just save your money or go elsewhere. I'd never recommend the food to anyone!
