Hours posted online wrong so closed when we got there. Waited for them to open only ones inside at first. After 45 min of waiting for our pizza waitress says there’s an issue with the oven that’s why it’s taking longer. Ordered a large but they cooked us two smalls. Asked for a box for one of them, she took the pizza away I thought to be boxed. That pizza was either given to someone or thrown out so never got what we ordered. Spent 75 minutes of wasted time to not get what I wanted, the food tasted undercooked. Will never go back, don’t waste your time or money. Highly disappointing.

Extraordinary pizza. The crust is everything you’d hope from a coal-fired pizza place. The pizza isn’t burned folks! Wake up!Beer list is a little disappointing but the service more than made up for it. Highly recommend. And good luck not eating an entire pizza to yourself.

Typically this place has excellent food. We ordered 2 pizzas this weekend that we're nothing short of horrible. The dough and sauce was great but instead of mozzarella, they used parmesean. I'm not sure if they ran out of mozzarella but the pizza was terrible.
I think it is in the Public Interest to advise people to stay away from this terrible restaurant. The food is unremarkable and they employ shady misleading marketing practices. Stay away.

I have loved this spot for years. Whether it’s drinks, pizza or the delicious meatballs I find them to be top notch. Years ago seeing them open made me so excited. Even after the pandemic, quality and taste is still there. Being attached to a brewery, it’s honestly a no brainer for date night.

Ordered two pizzas and wings for takeout. I don’t know if it’s because we got the food to go but the pies were incredibly underwhelming. Dry and flavorless. disappointing since we had visited the north park location and had an amazing time and the food was incredible. This was not the case. I’m hoping it’s a one off as I spent over $80 on a meal that tasted horrible.

It was ok but no staff just the guy at the bar. Pizza tasted ok but really expensive for such a thin pizza. For 1 medium pepperoni and 3 sodas was 50$ thats a little crazy to me.

This pizza place is outstanding! Despite the unfortunate trend of other locations going out of business, this spot offers some of the best pizza I've ever had. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but the quality and taste are definitely worth it. Being in El Cajon probably adds to its charm. I can imagine if Urban Pizza were in a different area, it would thrive even more. Best of luck to you guys! Your pizza has been a delightful treat for my family and me.
