I am giving this spot a 3 star review because after taking my son there yesterday and ordering the #3 combination plate & the birra quesadilla I had to check the reviews. When I ordered the birria quesadilla I did not receive any birria 🤣 my son and I didn't eat the quesadilla, we ate the enchiladas and left for ice cream. I should've gotten my money back for that ridiculousness.

This is one of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Just as good as the food we have down in Mexico. Good prices, spotless clean, and great service. Yummy berrira tacos. Big servings.

I like this place the food is good the place is clean the people are nice and very welcoming every time I come it's always clean and I'm greeted nicely it is the best taco shop in El cajon hands down come and try the many desert drinks and the food is A+

The shrimp cocktail was tasty, just had to add some lime, ketchup, and onion/cilantro to give it that extra taste I like. My mom loved it as is. The chips were also very good, they had a light seasoning to them which paired well with the shrimp cocktail and the salsa from the salsa bar. Horchata was delicious and the perfect amount of sweet. The service was great, the lady at the front was very nice and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean and there is plenty of seating. I will definitely be back, now I want to try the grande burrito and the carne asada after seeing some other reviews!

Food was not hot. Cheese wasn't melted on my dish when I got it, though it eventually melted. Posole didn't have much hominy. Meat was short ribs, which is not right.

A really bad place for food, some cold tacos and donkeys and you can't say anything because the cooks don't serve willingly, we also ordered a Menudo and a cockroach came out on my son's plate. something very unpleasant

I LOVE this place. Their Birria tacos are the best in San Diego and I’ve had my fair share of Mexican food. As an SD native, whenever people come to visit I tell them to go here because it’s literally the best. Please don’t ever leave the neighborhood!!
