Dave's Hot Chicken

This is my first time trying Dave’s. I signed up for an account to get a free regular sized drink, but was charged for it anyway. The honey packets and straws I requested were also missing. The mini bites I purchased were dry and lacked sauce. One of the tenders tasted of rancid frying oil and the other was extremely sweet like it was rolled in sugar and inedible. All for $30.

I visited this branch on 01/17/2026 at around 11:30 PM and ordered sliders and tenders. I politely asked for no wet rub on my order, which is something I have ordered the same way at other branches without any issue.
The shift leader told me they could not do it, and his attitude was very rude. Instead of explaining politely, he spoke in a harsh manner, which made me uncomfortable. Because of the way he spoke to me, I felt pressured and ended up refusing my order.
I understand that policies can differ, but there is no reason to be rude to a customer. I hope management can review this situation and provide additional customer service training so future customers are treated with respect.

This location is relatively new and sits in a larger shopping center, which makes it easy to get in and out. Plenty of seating inside and parking is open and free, which already puts it ahead of half the fast casual places around here.

Food is solid and consistent. You know what you’re getting, and that’s a good thing. The chicken delivers every time.

Huge underrated win: they have Coke Zero. Panda Express next door does not, and honestly there are days we come here purely because Coke Zero exists. No shame.

The milkshakes are also a great treat, especially with the toppings. Definitely not an afterthought on the menu.

One surprise standout beyond the chicken is the fried pickles. Really unique, really tasty, and not something you’d expect to be that good here, but they are.

Overall, reliable food, easy logistics, and a few nice extras that keep us coming back. Solid spot in the plaza.
