El Cerrito Natural grocery store has almost all organic fruits and vegetables. They do have meat, eggs and milk. Personally I always buy milk and sprouted bread from this store. They do have parking but it's always difficult to find a spot.

I asked my sister to bring us some mashed potatoes. She kindly descended on the El Cerrito Annex. We purchased two pints of mashed potatoes for an astronomical 33.00. Not only is this pure highway robbery, but the pricing is negligent on behalf of Annex. It is by far one of the most egregious ways to charge a customer who merely came in for mashed potatoes. We are shocked and disappointed, with the pricing schemes and will never return as a customer. I share with you wholeheartedly to avoid the El Cerrito Annex, if you have any sense of monetary value for food. We will never return.

Love this place. I live nearby and come here often. The only real downside is the espresso-based drinks. I don't want to hurt feelings but they really are exceptionally bad. I think some additional staff training would be beneficial.

Last minute nite family request for butter mochi and NO vanilla extract. I ran to the store and the cashier directed me. This was first time in the store as I usually go to the Berkeley BowlI'll try again to see but the assistance in mt "emergency " gives this rating

We visited Friday evening and picked up a premade sandwich, among other things. I noticed the label just stated “mayonnaise” but didn’t list the ingredients of the mayonnaise. I told the cashier I have a child with a soy allergy who would be consuming the sandwich and asked what oil the mayonnaise was made with. She said, very confidently organic sunflower oil. I should have asked to see a label myself because my daughter became sick.To the manager: Please keep ingredient labels close for employees to refer to, or ask them not to guess but always verify. And/Or please change your printed label for premade sandwiches.Otherwise, the other food my family enjoyed was fresh and tasty, but a bad experience for my poor daughter.
