Super cute dumpling place in El Cerrito. Highly recommend the cold cucumber and fungus salad. Dumplings are all made fresh in house and taste like it. Our favorite was chicken and mushroom. Wonton soup broth was also excellent. Lots of pork dishes so not veggie friendly except for the appetizers and one veggie dumpling option

We were craving dumplings and remembered we had been here before, so we decided to try some different flavors.
We ordered the Green Chive with shrimp and porl dumplings and Sweet corn with Chicken dumplings. Each order came with 14 dumplings, and all of them were delicious. The wrappers were cooked to the right texture, not too thick, but not too thin that they didn't break when picked up with chopsticks. The fillings were well seasoned and had a comforting, home-cooked feel, making them a great option for a quick meal.
I even bought three bags of frozen dumplings to take home. Each bag comes with 18 dumplings, which is a really good value. Highly recommended!

I was craving soup and going New Dumpling! It is a hidden gem in my eyes. Great food that was fast, filling, and soothing to my soul. I ordered the Green Chive Pockets and they were filled with chives and eggs, so good, but a little greasy. Hot & Sour Soup and that was really tasty and warned me up. Green Chive with Shrimp & Pork Dumplings which were very good and I finished very quickly. Last but not least was the Beef Noodle Soup and the soup was very tasty in addition to the noodles and beef. Like I said, everything was really tasty and for the price and speed it is worth it. This is a very small restaurant with a maximum occupancy of 24. It's fairly quiet, so don't expect a lot of noise. I highly recommend this place and I'll be returning!

Raw baby shrimp were in the broth for the Pork Wonton Soup. This is a serious allergen and nowhere on their website states that there is supposed to be shrimp inside a Pork Wonton soup. My girlfriend has a shrimp allergy and has been breaking out into hives. We had a pregnant woman in our group who we're lucky didn't eat it.
We called and the Owner claimed its supposed to be there. We've had Wonton Soup all of our lives, there should never be baby shrimp in the broth.
