Such a super cute eclectic, locally owned coffee shop mixed with a boutique full of local treasures. Loved the food + drink options and the super chill vibes. We cozied up in the comfy seating area with our drinks before heading to the Bay for a hike, and I couldn’t resist browsing the locally made jewelry and clothes. Even played a game and pulled a few tarot cards before heading out.
I had the iced Ube Rose Latte (floral with rose petals on top 🌹) while my hubby enjoyed a delicious Coconut Mocha. We also shared a warm, flavorful empanada — so good! Service was friendly, and the little outdoor patio out back is adorable. Love supporting a local mom + pop shop, especially when the owners are there sharing their passion with the community

Incredible, need to get the Up Beet sandwich with turkey it is a must have. Such reasonable prices for their generous portions and always warm wonderful service. Can't forget about the toasted marshmallow latte 😋 just plain amazing!

This place is so quaint and cute and you will definitely take home something as a souvenir the coffee and the food was on point totally recommend the turkey beet jam sandwich and iced coffee!

A classy little retreat right near BART and El Cerrito Plaza. Been here before and enjoyed the indoor and sidewalk seating, but I just discovered the courtyard. Feels like I'm in a Mediterranean cafe. So serene and beautiful. Grapevines and bougainvillea.

OMG, I love this little place! So comfy and homey, with indoor seating on a big comfy Couch, or outdoor seating at little Caffe tables either on the front sidewalk, or in the side garden, if you want a little more privacy.
I had the avocado toast, which was delicious, with big chunks of avocado on focacia bread. And also a sweet potato muffin with cream cheese frosting, which was moist and absolutely perfect.

So excited for a new coffee shop in the neighborhood! Stopped by to pick up lunch today and can now highly recommend the Up Beet turkey sandwich. It was huge and the carved turkey, creamy avocado and bread were all delicious. Can’t wait to try more of the menu. The empanadas looked good!

Spotted this place as I was driving by and decided to stop, which was a great decision! Relaxing atmosphere that invites you to linger. Had a tasty oat milk ube latte, but the real star was the vegan mushroom empanada. Heated it up at home, turned out flakey and buttery and not over-salted. Friendly staff (we were helped by Clifford). Stop by, you won't be disappointed!
Oh my gosh, I love this place! We needed this in the neighborhood. Great vibes, creative offerings (including apparel), drinks and a great selection of food including empanadas. My new favorite place. Forget literally everything in the Plaza and come here. Your heart and your belly will thank you.
