I love this place but I ordered 2 lattes and 2 bagels and all my food was done in 5 minutes besides the pumpkin pie latte , I waited a total of 25 minutes just for the pumpkin pie latte and then it tasted like a normal latte with no pumpkin flavor. Not sure what happened but going to give them a second chance because their team was super positive and full of smilesEdit for reply: I appreciate the offer but I’m okay on the free drink , the issue wasn’t that my food and one drink was handed out early , the issue was that the ingredients in the drink that I ordered were not prepared so my self and multiple customers that ordered the same drink waited 25 minutes. The best way to fix this is to be honest and tell the customers that the ingredients for the item they ordered are not prepared and offer a different item as a substitute instead of not communicating the issue to the customer and having them wait for 25 minutes . Thank you and I appreciate your response and I hope sharing my experience can help you improve the experience for your future customers ❤️P.S the chia latte needs to be improved as well. I see multiple complaints about the chai from your customers and I also agree that it is the worse chai I have had, with that being said I would highly recommend changing your recipe or just removing it from your menu to make sure you keep your future customers happy.

The food is low quality and over priced. You would think that maybe they would excel at customer service because they have such low quality food for such high prices but not the case, customer service sucks too. I had NY breakfast bagel in NY for half the price!

Really good coffee, and awesome to have a local place that has gluten-free options.I did want to come and work on my laptop at the community table, but the wifi is really unstable/low strength, and the staff were not able to make any suggestions or help access one a faster network.

I’m honestly surprised this place has 4 stars? The cafe itself is a cute little hole in the wall. It's small, has limited seating, books to read, pretty simple, I loved it. What I expected and what I received was night & day. What ruins it is the service and food. When I walked in I wasn't greeted, honestly the staff was pretty awkward. They don't ask you how you're doing, and don't make you feel welcomed. I ordered an iced chai latte with avocado toast & a sunny side egg. My drink came out first and it was literally just milk with a little bit of chai flavor. The toast followed and it was literally the saddest meal I've seen, definitely not worth $16. There was barely any avocado to begin with, and they tried to cover it up with putting too many slices of tomato. They don't season their food, it was very bland, not even a little bit of salt & pepper was added! Again, for $16, you should do more than just light avocado, tomato slices and "Larrupin" sauce, not sure what that was anyway. When I returned it and said they forgot the egg, they gave it back with a food item that literally felt like rubber, which is what is in the second picture. I picked it up and it was felt similar to the putty that kids play with. My 1 year old was very hungry so I really tried to find something worth eating in it but I couldn't. She was crying since I had to return it-which was the worst part. I felt terrible. The girl behind the counter said this was how they made their eggs..fine, but why not mention that when I specifically said, "either sunny side or over easy is okay" No ounce of love was put into my order and it definitely looked/tasted like it. Save your money, and go elsewhere.

Lovely little local spot situated in the middle of an El Cerrito neighborhood. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious, and the staff is generally accommodating and efficient. That said, their coffee drinks leave a bit to be desired for a place that bills itself as offering craft coffee.

After being assured they had wifi and ordering food and coffee, I sat down to try and work. Don’t bother trying to do anything online here. Weak connection and I wasn’t able to download a simple word doc since it kept buffering and refreshing.Fine coffee shop (service is beyond sloooooow, come when you don’t have a care in the world or else don’t come here at all)Wish I could like this place since it seems local. Don’t expect to get online here and come for coffee only.

Small hole-in-the-wall-type space. Came here to do some work on my laptop, but there's only 1 table inside (occupied), and 3 chairs outside (windy, loud, surrounded by people waiting for their orders since the interior is so small), so that didn't work out. The service was meh - the guys behind the counter, in their chin diapers, acted like they'd rather be somewhere else. But my latte was delicious, and my panini was good. I'd come back for caffeine, but nothing else.
