Really nice Japanese food. Nothing in Marin County even comes close. Worth the drive over for real Japanese food. Open late too. Atmosphere is nice, but in the interests of serving a few more people and shortening the wait time, seems like they could fit a couple more tables in here.

!CUSTOMERS BEWARE!Yoshio recently started adding 15% service fee to ALL dine-in bills. So before you tip based on their historically slow service - consider that.Wide variety of typical Japanese food, nothing to write home about but they do have some unique dishes that not every Japanese restaurants have. The best thing about this place is that it’s open late, and if you’re familiar to the area- that’s pretty significant.

Good food. Good service. Nice small restaurant. Not much parking available. The wait for a table was short. Had a good time.

New favorite local sushi joint. Some other reviews memtion the service isn't "great", which I would would qualify to say: on sushi night, my gf and I just want good, relatively inexpensive sushi. This place delivers. The service is more "get it done in a perfectly adequate way". Especially when compared to the polite, preemptive water filling, and mild snobery one can expect from a fancy Italian restaurant. (Aka, yoshio doesn't have that.) But everything else is just sublime. (ESPECIALLY the hours they keep, since most nom-fastfood places close at like8/9.)Parking: There are two spots in front that say "no parking" but I've seen a number of patrons park there. I feel like they should just put "patrons of Yoshio only", and call it a day.

It was cold and crowded and service was super nice but not attentive enough. I’ve been there two or three times now and I just don’t really like the food.
Very poor customer service. The lady needs more and more training.

The best sushi in town. We go there every weekend and we are never disappointed. They know we are frequent clients and bring our favorite drinks: extra hot sake?
