Pleasantly surprised. Had planned to get pizza tonight but the new pizza joint was packed. Walked down to Kochi and my family was seated immediately. We used to eat at this spot years ago but it changed owners during covid. Not sure if it has changed owners again or they found their stride, but our meal was excellent. The sushi was definitely A+ and my son’s katsu was so moist and good. We have been eating at another sushi bar in EDH for some years, but we will be switching over to Kochi. Amazing food, great service, and just down the street. Lovely.

We love this sushi spot! And we’ve been allllll over the el dorado hills and Folsom area looking for the best most fresh fish. It has a new owner and you need it try it if you love fresh fish! They consolidated the older menu when they took over ownership and are making small changes to the atmosphere inside but it is DELISH!
