Stopped by to grab some drinks after a short day of work! Just wanna give a shout out to the girl with the butterfly tattoo cause she was super sweet. I don't normally go to 7 Leaves, so I wasn't sure how to redeem my points, but she helped me out a lot. I ordered four drinks and three macaroons. Unfortunately, they were out of vanilla and chocolate, but the ones I got were still really good. A little on the sweeter side, but I love how soft the shells are. Honestly, I can say that I haven't had a bad experience with their drinks just yet! With every 7 Leaves that I've been to, all my drinks were always made perfectly. And I always love that they have a drive thru, which makes my life so much easier. 10/10!

This is my go-to 7 Leaves since the Alhambra one tends to be busy. The service was always great. The workers are always smiling and generally have great energy. I've never found myself waiting longer than 3 minutes even at peak hours. The drinks themselves aren't mind-blowing, but still very solid compared to other boba shops in the 626 area. It's also a great place to study as it never gets too packed. My favorite and go-to will always be the Green Thai Tea (4/5), but sometimes it tends to be too milky. Strawberry Sunset (4/5) is my go-to when I want something more refreshing and light, but the hibiscus sometimes overtakes the other flavors. Black and Tan (2/5) it taste exactly what it is. Half & Half of coffee and jasmine milk tea. I am just not a fan of their jasmine milk tea and find it to be their most mediocre drink. House Coffee (5/5) was always a solid pick-me-up when I needed it. It was strong but sweet. Can never go wrong with it.

I gotta say out of all 7 leaves, the El Monte location is the best in customer service and in general. Usually, I do online or in person. I don't really stay at the location, but overall, it always looks and feels like a clean, relaxing environment. And they're manager, which I don't remember his name he is a young Hispanic male, doing a great job. Makes sure there is good customer service and satisfaction, which is a plus. Overall, I've tried many of their drinks and appetizers, which I totally recommend. And if there is ever something wrong with your drink, they fix it for you without making faces or making you feel uncomfortable. For me, that's a plus because I'm pretty sure that's not just for myself but for many people out there a coffee, boba, tea drink, etc.. can make a difference in your day.

I had a birthday reward to claim and I opted to order a drink on the app for pick up; the drink was meant for the next day since I was driving by after work and I wanted the black and tan (coffee and tea with milk) so I ordered no ice but with two toppings. When I showed up, the person behind the counter greeted me and asked what they could get for me. I told them I had a mobile order and gave them my name. They came back maybe 3-5 mins later and told me because I had two toppings and no ice, they were worried that it might not taste as good. I told them that it's ok, and I appreciate them giving me a heads up because most people wouldn't even give it a second thought about a customers experience after the transaction. I really didn't mind that I basically was messing up my own drink hahaha and I told them that I didn't want them to waste another cup or more stuff. To my surprise, they insisted on remaking the drink for me and I was really impressed by their customer service. The remake was DELICIOUS and was perfectly balanced despite me asking for no ice. HUGE KUDOS TO CARLOS! Employees and customer service like his is what make customers return and I'll definitely be back more often! Anyway, this location has a drive thru and shares a lot with a handful of businesses. There are 4 outlets with 2 plugs each, so good enough of electrical plugs if you're looking for a study/work spot! The space itself has pano windows and is quite spacious inside! But yeah, the drink was great! I doomed my drink to begin with because I should know boba isn't good overnight hahah. Oooops! I brought great dishonor to my family and cows by trying to drink day old boba lol.

So whenever I'm in California, I make a stop at 7Leaves because it is one of the only boba shops I've been to where they have mung bean tea. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. It is one of the most popular item on the menu so there are plenty of others that agree with me. The mung bean tea feels very refreshing and cooling. There's a term in Cantonese called "Yeeet-hay" meaning there's an imbalance in your body (usually when you eat too much fried food or you eat out a lot). Well the mung bean drink is great to reverse the heat. Not sure about other locations but this one does serve half gallon size containers. For our group, many of us wanted the mung bean option so it was the cheaper route to order. However, when we were here, they ran out. I don't think it's advertised so just ask if they have it available.

The drinks are great but the steamer seems to be broken quite a lot. The house coffee is definitely the go too coffee for me. Always hot. With they had a few more food options and a "large" option for the hot coffee
First of all, I come here quite often, especially because it's not far from where I live, sometimes it's my last resort place if I'm craving something sweet and the other stores are about to close as well. However, the last few times I've came here they really be skimping out on your drink. I have read through the reviews to see if I'm the only one that has dealt with this issue and I've seen a few reviews already that mentions that they're very inconsistent with filling up your drink that you paid for. I actually held the drink up and stared at the first drink the guy handed to me in front of him to give him a chance to say something, but he proceeded to hand me the other drink. I know people can argue that "oh why didn't you say something then?" But it's kind of like... I also work at a boba shop, a super super busy one at that, and literally even when we're slammed we KNOW that customers would feel a certain way if there's a big visible gap at the top of the cup, and I did give him a chance to notice that I was like "..." about it. I would personally feel awkward to hand that to a customer in the first place lol. And the fact that I ordered two different sized drinks and they both aren't filled to the top. Tryna keep returning customers should honestly be one of the biggest priorities, it's how you keep a business running, but I'm sure the workers don't gaf, after all it is just a boba place.

came here twice this week because the quality of the tea in the milk tea was amazing. only came to this establishment once before in the past couple years but definitely can taste quality in the drinks and the staff have been very great each time ordering and at the window. great drinks and awesome customer service overall.

This place has a nice drive thru. The workers were nice, but I came in the morning, way after it was open and the boba still wasn't ready! Darn. I got the house coffee instead, but that's usually my biggest gripe about seven leaves in general, they never have the Boba ready in the morning when they open.

Update. Decided to give this place another try and have been coming back weekly since. Glad they were able to adjust the tea and haven't had a boba outage issue since! Always good service here.
