I visited Garduño’s Restaurant for the first time with my wife. We drove up to the drive-through window and ordered two tostadas mixtas, while my wife ordered three à la carte enchiladas and a large drink. The total came out to $42.00. The tostadas were small and not prepared the way I expected. My wife was told that each enchilada cost $4.50, but the cheese was hard and the sauce overly spicy. To make matters worse, the service was slow and the employee at the window took a long time with our order. Unfortunately, I will not be returning

Their food is the worse I’ve ever tasted! The service is horrible! We waited half hour on drive through for our food and the joint wasn’t even full. That should have been a red flag for me! Never will I ever go there again!!

There used to be a Gardunos on Whittier Blvd. Now I have to travel to El Monte for their delicious food.
I ordered the 7 Mares soup. Pure flavor! I've never had such a tasty bowl of soup. It was a good serving that turned into another meal. Hubby got the wet burrito. It was big and packed with meat.
Plenty of parking. No wait. Affordable menu. Fast service.

First time visit for me, and it's been many years since my second half had been there..
Customer service was great, we ordered a carne asada & a Carnitas oven burrito.
It was made to order and delicious. Meat was tender and salsa was smoky and spicy.

Where do I start. When we get there, we seated ourselves, and a waitress comes to our table and gives us menu's and tells us that we need to go to the front counter and order our food when we were ready (which I didn't understand why when this is a sit down restaurant and there were 3 other waitress there doing nothing). Our waitress then comes to the table and hands us chips and salsa. When our food comes, we ask for more chips, and she says there will be an extra charge for that. The food looked really good but didn't taste that way. The shrimp was chewy and tasted dirty. Our pineapple drinks tasted rotten and had a bad smell. I asked them to trade out our drinks for soda, and they looked at me as if I were crazy. We didn't finish our soda, so we asked for a cup to take them to go, and they said there would be an extra charge for that. We needed more napkins but didn't want to ask for them, thinking there would be another extra charge for that 😆. I spent $100 on dinner, and I couldn't get another basket of chips or a cup to take my soda to go. This place is overpriced. Bad service and food. I will never eat here again, and I dont recommend this place.
