Ordered take out for the family, and we were very satisfied. Noodles, xlb, and shumai were good. Though I felt like it would have been better if they were seasoned a bit stronger, I'll definitely try again.

Dirty with dead bugs on the tables, bad food, and bad service. The food was pretty terrible, but I would have given 3 stars if not for the extraordinarily rude guy who argued with my parents on what color lettuce was. He asked my dad what was wrong with him because he didn't want a particular ingredient in the food. Look at this dead moth that was on top of the napkins box. We brushed it down, but that's disgusting. I'm reporting this place for health code violations.

Went on a Saturday around 7:30 and got 2 different dumplings, shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour shrimp and everything was great. Lots of small shrimp in the rice so almost every bite had shrimp in it. Dumplings were the on point with taste and texture. The sweet and sour shrimp were big and there were plenty of them. Overall it took about 10-15 minutes for my order to be ready and the man taking the order was very friendly and even hooked me up with an extra dumpling so I very much appreciated that. The only bad part lot is small with 15 minute parking so just be aware of that

Not my first time for Chinese foods, but this restaurant must be my favorite one in LA. It's was super tasty, yummy. I recommend everyone about Leak cake fries. Super good

I come to this superb restaurant often because I like the good air that is outline this place. The personel is very loyal and experienced. The service is absolutely rapid. Most important, the food they serve is great. I have been there many times and I was always pleased. The cost is honest. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

By far some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. I came here on New Years day with my family and girlfriend. We ordered 5 dishes and each one was more spectacular than the next. It was hard to say which one was our favorite. It's impressive to see the owners, who must be a literal Mom and Pop, run the entire restaurant from waiting to cooking. How they were able to cook up so many tasty dishes in the short amount of time for us and others in the restaurant, I have yet to fathom. I would highly recommend the eggplant. Never have I had eggplants crispy on the outside and well cooked on the inside. It was seasoned well and not drowning in gravy like most other places.

This place has some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Delicious textures, lots of flavors and food that isn't too oily (which is rare for a lot of Chinese food places I've been to). The owner explained every dish to us and provided great service. It's in a very unassuming area of a shopping plaza (with parking lot!). Just know, you wouldn't come here for lavish interiors or novel menu items with bells & whistles. Nope, you'd come for the amazing and authentic Chinese food at a great price. I highly recommend and plan to return when in the area!

How do I sum up the Tasty Dumpling Kitchen in five simple words? Amazingly tasty authentic Chinese food! TDK is a hidden gem that my good friend (Daniel L.) introduced me to. The rice is plentiful and fluffy, the lamb is delicious and succulent, and the portion sizes are very generous for the price. Three of us had enough for left overs. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience - I am not in the neighborhood often but I would definitely revisit.
Excellent authentic food from northern China. I would give 10 star for the dumplings or the hot and sour soup.the sesame pancake was also delicious . The price is very reasonable.service was great!

Stumbled across Tasty Dumpling with friends when another place we frequent was too busy to work us in for lunch. It turned out to be a quiet little hole-in-the-wall with great food, so we're glad we stopped. Started with the shredded potato with bell pepper dressed in vinegar; it was a super-yummy way to kick off the meal. Also got a pork wonton soup, pork with Peking sauce, and some pork dumplings, all of which were excellent. Service was fast and friendly--looks like a family-owned place. Cash only. Hurry up and try this place before all the other Yelpers discover it!
