Obviously there's not many options for those staying near the park. This place is decent enough. Prices are ok as is the food. It's very much "bar food" quality but does the job. Staff aren't overly pleased to be there. This place is fine all things considered.

This place comes in a clutch. One of the closest places to Yosemite gate and on Cedar Lodge property.
Good food, semi-self service (order at the counter, served at the table), reasonable price and has a bar.

Great place if you set your expectations right.

I saw the bad reviews for this place and fully expected a bad meal and maybe curt service but we were tired and wanted something easy that we could walk to. We were both really pleasantly surprised! It’s a quick and easy diner with quick and easy diner food but everyone was friendly and nice and the food was really good! We enjoyed everything we got and left with very full tummy’s. I’d definitely go back for a bite after a long day hiking.

I’m giving this a 4 solely because their grilled chicken sandwich and fries is actually a solid meal after a long hike. I recommend the barbecue sauce because it is actually really good.

Their hostess might be the most miserable hostess I’ve encountered. As my girlfriend said, “she couldn’t care if we lived or died”. She gets 1 star out of 5. She took our order and looked and acted like she hated her life.

But the food came out quickly and I got the grilled chicken sandwich two days in a row and it was good both times. It is a little expensive for what it is, I think it was over 20$ once I tipped them, which I did because I didn’t want spit in my food and I got the feeling the hostess would tell the kitchen to do that if you didn’t tip.

I was worried about eating here based on the terrible reviews. We got burgers. Was it great, no. Was it fine and about similar food to everyone in/around Yosemite, yes. I thought the fries were good! We got our food quickly, the restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and efficient.

If you consider this place as a fast food bistro, then you will be fine. Prices are affordable and portions normal size.

I stopped by this restaurant by chance because I finished my visit to Yosemite very late and this was the first place that I found open on the way to Mariposa. I had the chicken wings with blue cheese and they were ok. Prices were quite low (about 15-17$ for a main course).

Food was tastier and more reasonably priced than I had expected. Wings were fantastic. Burger was juicy. Fish n chips a bit bland but fish was substantial/chunky. Generally better pricing/flavors than Curry village options inside the park.

Ordered a few different plates, girl that took our order didn't seem too happy to be there. Place is more of a pub with pub food, came out super fast, wings were excellent, fish was ok but the nachos were more like 7 eleven nachos. Prices are decent and place is fairly clean.

The food is acceptable because you have nowhere to go, but the waitress is unbearable.

Completely overpriced burgers that aren't even served completely.
The burger meat is also very dry.
The service is totally listless, unfriendly and loitering at the counter, giving you the feeling of not being welcome.
The ambience is quite okay.

Unfortunately, the unique selling point is 200% exploited in this area.

Never again....

After a day at Yosemite we had dinner here and ordered the burger with cheese and the chicken wings.Chicken wings were very good - both in taste and quantity! Burger was a classic American burger nothing too fancy but good!Prices were absolutely ok given the location close to Yosemite and the lack of food options in this area.In my opinion the place was charming - has some American bar / dinner vibes with a pool table in the middle of the place and a music box.Service was good and quick!

My wife and I had a good meal while staying at Yosemite Cedar Lodge. There was only one person running the bar and serving along with one cook. They both did a great job and got our food and order in a timely manner. Most of the food is American or fried so it would be nice if they had some other options too like pasta (as an example). Food is also a little expensive per person, but was good otherwise. Menu is on Google photos for the place if you want to see what they have.

The Pepsi we ordered was literally water. I am not sure if it was the machine but this one seemed like diluted Pepsi !!!They did mention unlimited refills but what is the point when you add water !!!

Vegetarian options: I could see one vegetarian option on the menu and French fries !!

Parking: On the Lodge premises
