we had booked this restaurant to grab a quick bite before the luke combs concert. At no point during check in had we been warmed that the kitchen was not open. We had tried calling multiple times the week prior to get a reservation for a party of 6, to which none of the calls had been returned. We were nicely greeted at the bar, and then told the chef had not come in and they were only serving drinks. The hotel itself if nice and a good distance from SOFI, but I'd rather go back to the little Japanese place down the street instead.
There is no restaurant in the lounge. We arrived at our scheduled time and told then they had no chef so restaurant. We were sent upstairs to their rooftop restaurant which was completely understaffed. Disappointed to say the least especially since both restaurants looked aesthetically pleasing. Would consider going back if they got their business in order.
The Brut I ordered was nice, Lmmfao. But that’s about it. The pesto pasta didn’t have any taste to it, but pesto. It was so much on it. The meatballs had a weird consistency to them, I couldn’t get with the texture. I like that it comes with bread though. The NY cheesecake actually costs too much for the size, and it’s gritty. Almost mush.

Horrible meals. I ordered dinner to go and the salmon was the worst one ever had in my life. So hard it broke the fork, I think I was served leftover salmon. Same thing for the pita bread, cold, hard and disgusting. This place definitely needs a new chef!!!

I cannot say enough of the five star service Ernesto provided. We were waiting for the shuttle to take us to the airport. It was 10 mins late, then 15 mins late. I asked the gentleman at the front desk to inquire but he was not helpful at all. Just said he will be there. I expressed my concern that we had an international flight to catch. I was so frustrated by this front desk man's customer service I told my husband we should call an Uber. Meanwhile we already paid for the hotel shuttle. Ernesto overheard my frustration. Called the bus to find out it wouldn't be coming there was an issue. He refunded us for our shuttle we paid for and also paid for our Uber. It was Four Seasons customer service, over and beyond exceeded our expectations! You should be so lucky to have a person like Ernesto. The other gentleman needs to go back to learning customer service skills and hospitality! Go Ernesto!
This place needs new chefs and staff. It took me asking the desk to see if they were open. Then we waited for 15-20 minute to get menus. It took another 30 to get our food. I had to return the food a friend ordered. It wasn't right again, but they ate it. My food was not edible. Dry and flavorless. We tried to order dessert, then they told us they didn't have it. The only good thing was the beer and cocktail. What a wasteOverall I would not recommend.

i have to say...the gentlemen that greet you at the valet stand are AMAZING! Cesar is THE BEST!!! He remembers who i am when i come to park my car. He is sweet, corteois and extremely helpful. i leave my car here when i fly out because i Cesar and his colleagues will take great care while in there!
My daughter was getting married and cesar went beyond anyone can ask for. He is more than a super human being. He cares and helped make it possible to make our flight. These people Care. Can’t thank these guys enough. Wow. He even texted me to make sure I made it on time. Who does this ? Very special people.
We are a Marriott family. I'm a mom who traveled with 2 teens for the Rolling Loud Music festival. The staff at this AC Marriott were consistently kind, helpful and courteous. The valet staff was exceptional and provided tips on traffic and info about the concert venue. Daniel, Cezar and the other staff were awesome! The restaurant staff was also exceptional... Nestor, and Yaneth were awesome! Lastly, the manager Emma was so helpful! We will definitely return. It's easy access to the 105 and the location is quiet. Thank you! Positive vibes at this hotel!
We just parked here over the holidays and it was great. Cesar, the valet, was super helpful and got us right on the shuttle to the airport. When we returned to LAX getting back on the shuttle was east too. I read reviews of horror stories about LAX shuttles, but LAX is always a cluster and the shuttle was easy enough to call and get to, so I’m not sure what sort of service people are expecting that they aren’t getting. We thought it was great and will definitely be parking here again.

Let’s first mention the bad things, 1) Whoever built this hotel cheaped out on noise reduction insulation. As noted in other reviews you can hear everything going on with your neighbouring rooms. It is surprising that a new hotel would be built so poorly. I am on the 5th floor, room 503, and I can clearly hear the music going on upstairs 2)the heating/ac system is not consistent. When it turns on it sounds like an airplane is turning off. Five minutes later it turns off and then you have silence 3)when one books a Marriot there is a certain expectation of quality. Clearly this hotel is a disgrace to the brand . 4) to further reduce costs the hotel cleans the rooms every three days “to maintain your cocoon” What a joke!! Good things: Valet staff In conclusion avoid at all cost
I typically don’t take the time to leave negative reviews, but in this particular case, I’m sincerely disappointed with the service that I received at AC bar and lounge. I visited a few nights ago and informed the waitress that anything I purchased I would be paying for in cash, Obviously she needed a card on file for liability reasons which I provided to her, upon conclusion of my $65 meal I paid $80 in cash, $65 for my bill and $15 for my tip. I was subsequently charged an additional $80 onto the card on file, I’ve been trying to resolve this issue for two days at this point and I feel like I’ve been getting nothing but the runaround from the manager Bridgette and the employees that I spoke with. I was told that I would get a call back with the resolution of this issue by the end of the business day today, when I called back to follow up, they told me Bridgette has gone home for the day. When I requested to speak to another manager, the employee, with the manager in the background, proceeded to tell me that the manager was unable to speak with me, because it was out of the scope of his job responsibilities. As a professional, it would’ve been nice to hear from him directly. The food in the service by the bartender, Jon was phenomenal. Unfortunately, it was tainted by the mismanagement of a simple financial issue.

The hotel was modern and nice except for the used bar of soap and dirty towel left on the bathroom sink. Obviously someone may have been in a hurry to prep the room for the next guest. I just had to wonder what else they may have missed in the rush. The view from my room was awful, the backside of the Hyatt looking into guestroom windows. I was too tired to have it changed if one was even available to provide. Parking also left a bit to be desired. The self park structure is shared with other businesses and you have to park way up on the upper floors before you find parking available for hotel guest. You can valet for a significant fee. Staff was friendly!
I used this hotel’s parking garage for a trip out of LAX and upon arriving home, my vehicle wouldn’t start. I went down to the valet stand to see if they might be able to help before I called AAA and Cesar told me it wouldn’t be a problem and grabbed a portable battery to jump my vehicle. He was so helpful and patient trying to figure out how to maneuver the cables to connect to the battery since Honda has decided to hide it under other things. We got my vehicle started and I am so grateful to Cesar for his help after a long 10 hour travel day. Excellent service at this hotel!!
I recently stayed here on business for a major event in the area. The staff was wonderful and I cannot speak highly enough about the sales team who helped make the event possible. Rooms were well appointed, clean and spacious (something you don't always find in big cities!!). Hope to be back next time I am in the area!
