There are many sugary drink shops in El Segundo masquerading as coffee places. If you order a cup of black coffee at those places it will taste bitter and gross.
Bar Nine on the other hand has actually good coffee with good beans, plenty of free parking, and it's peaceful there.

Food means coffee. Try variety of coffee. The cappuccino, latte, black and currato. All is very good. Not too busy. Parking is empty.

Big shoutout to Kevin for such a welcoming experience! Kevin gave a detailed breakdown of the different notes between the Ethiopian and Brazilian coffee beans they currently roast. My favorite part was that the ham and cheese croissant was sliced fresh deli-style. I loved my first time experience and I will definitely be back.

This spot is fairly new. A company favorite at my job because it is conveniently across the street. It’s in a peaceful area. Lots and lots of space to get work done or sit with friends to enjoy your coffee. Their pastries and treats are pretty good. Ham & cheese one is my favorite! I didn’t love the reusable mason jar concept but now that they switched paper cups, I enjoy the coffee more frequently. They really know their coffee and the staff is so friendly.

This location is a little hidden but it's great for being productive. It's a really nice new office building that appears to be very unused. Coffee is great and the baristas are geeky and enthusiastic about caffeinated beverages.
