Today 2/5/2026, placed my usual online order for a half chicken but this time no wing. I assumed the wing would be replaced with a leg or perhaps a small thigh that comes in a half chicken order. This is my first selecting this option. I arrived home and noticed I have only three pieces of chicken, and still charged the 1/2 chicken price. I called the store and informed them of my order missing a piece of chicken. The rude Hispanic girl told me that I requested no wing which is correct. She goes on to say that they do not replace the wing and three pieces for the price of four is what I get, and that’s on me. This rude person literally stated “that’s on you.” I literally frequent this place once and sometimes twice per week and to be told “that’s on you” because I didn’t understand how they operate is appalling. Needless to say I WILL NEVER patronize this business again after being spoken to like this.

I only really like the Melrose wrap and the Chinese wrap here. I tried their 1/4 rotisserie chicken (all dark meat) and the portion was honestly pretty sad. For the price, it just isn’t worth it.
I prefer the Beverly Hills location over the El Segundo one because they always gives me extra chicken in the wrap and on the side. I eat there often, and I actually feel like they value me as a customer.
If you go, just skip the rotisserie chicken. You can get a whole one at Costco for the same price.

This place used to be phenomenal. Food quality is still solid but they charge $16 for a wrap that has reduced in size by 50% and now contains 50% lettuce. There is hardly a quarter of a chicken breast in the wrap. I understand its hard to run a business in california but its now a rip off to eat here. Management needs to understand they are losing customers.
I usually get the Melrose Wrap and for some reason, this time that I ordered it, it had too much salt and pepper for no reason. They gave me free chicken along with the wrap and that was salty too. I’d say chill on the salt and pepper. I found out after that there’s an option to remove the salt and pepper in the app. Might do that next time.

5-STAR RECOMMENDATION: The food is excellent! I highly recommend the tasty chicken (1/2 dark meat) with a side order of the chicken pasta salad! Ask for the House Red Salsa and splurge a little extra and get the bottle (you won't regret it)! To finish off, I suggest the Chewy Coco-nut Cookie, which is absolutely delicious!

I’ve been a loyal fan of California Chicken Café for years — we order almost weekly and have even catered events — because I love their healthy, high-quality food. But my last visit was really disappointing.
All the pickup spots were full, and with kids in the car, I couldn’t easily park. No one answered the phone, and when I briefly pulled up and honked, staff waved me off and laughed. It would’ve been so easy for someone to quickly and safely ask what I needed.
Then the order was wrong: our Double Chicken Salad didn’t have double chicken, and the Melrose Wrap had the Chinese Chicken Salad dressing, which didn’t pair well at all.
When I called, the call center agent was hard to understand, defensive, and only offered a small refund — which never came. I even submitted the issue online and never got a response.
I usually love CCC for its healthy, high-quality food and consistency, but this was a miss on every level. Hoping it was just an off day, because I’d really like to keep coming back.
