Eddie V's Prime Seafood

Very good, great ambiance. Server was very knowledgable of the menu and was good with conversation. Food was very good and came with very solid portions. I would definitely go back for a special occasion in the South Bay.

Everything is amazing at Eddie V's - the service, the food, the ambience and the thoughtfulness of the staff. They truly understand service.

Eddie V's is a place I love to go to an have events an conferee dinners. Last Night I made reservations that early morning which was yesterday 1/24/26 for 8pm. When we got there 7:45 athe concierge greeted us great and told us they are preparing our table right now. The young lady behind the counter got mad an told him no it will be at 8. So he repeated it to us and told us we could stand there or go over to the bar and have a seat and they will come get us. while at the bar service was very slow and asked for a jack an coke they had 0 bottles of jack. Next they finally came to get us at which was 8:45. This wasn't the way to start a 28 year anniversary. When every anniversary we go to Eddie's. But this time it was just so different.

Eddie Vs is always consistent. You can't go wrong dining at any of their locations actually. The bar is where the vibe is! The live music is always great, with cool bartenders and live sports on...it's a no-brainer to opt for bar seating if possible. Food wise, my go-to is the yellowtail sashimi, Caesar salad or the blue cheese wedge (chopped) and the crabcake. We also ordered their 1lb king crab special that was on the menu tonight. So happy I did! It was super meaty and sweet, absolutely delicious.

We always have a great dinner when we come here. Our server was great. The food was delicious. We love the Seabass, the filet and the new Wagyu steak. All the sides were yummy. They also had a live jazz group playing which gave it a great ambiance.

Our server Simin was excellent from beginning to end. He was attentive, excellent recommendations. Good food, good service, good company.

Eddie V's was amazing, the food was great, and the service was exceptional. Our server Matthew was very attentive and helpful. It was our anniversary and the restaurant was very accommodating and even left us a note with rose pedals and champagne.

Crab fried rice is just okay; reviews about it are overhyped. Beef medallions trio were good and to try with three different sauces. Chilean sea basss was okay, not as tender or flavorful as other Chilean seabass I've had elsewhere and soy sauce under it was a bit too salty . Crab cake was awesome, perfectly cooked with so much crab meat and just the right amt of panko . Rosé champagne had and old fashioned whiskey sour were good. Very nice to have trio jazz to provide musical ambience during dinner. Our server Mike was terrific.

Awesome experience! We were drawn by the Caymus pairing event. The food was phenomenal. The wait staff was amazing. The chef came out and stopped by our table to see how our night was going and to see if we were pleased with our dinner items. Will definitely return.

I finally checked Eddie V's off of my to visit list & what a fine dining experience I had. I arrived a few minutes before my reservation & before my friend. Within minutes, I was seated & when she arrived, she was shown to where I was seated. We shared a divine crabcake with a perfect sauce. We each had delicious ribeye steaks & shared cheesy au gratin potatoes. While enjoying this wonderful meal in their V Lounge, we were entertained by a delightful jazz trio. I look forward to returning.

The atmosphere at Eddie V’s in El Segundo is undeniably elegant — warm lighting, stylish décor, and a lively yet comfortable vibe that makes it a great spot for drinks or conversation. The bar is well stocked with quality selections, though I was surprised to find some notable brands missing from their lineup.

Unfortunately, when it came to dining, the experience fell short for me as a vegan. The restaurant offered very limited plant-based options, with gnocchi being the only available dish. Sadly, it was bland and unappealing — definitely not up to the standard I’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber.

I might consider returning for a drink during happy hour, given the inviting bar and atmosphere, but I won’t be dining here again until they introduce more thoughtful and flavorful vegan options.
