Bummer! I was just here last week having their most delicious fish and chips and then today, Friday July 12th, I get an email from Groupon saying that the restaurant is closing. When I called the restaurant to confirm he said they're closing at the end of next week because everybody in the strip mall is being forced to close because the owner is not renewing leases and plans to remodel the entire area. Needless to say, I am pissed. They have some of the best fish and chips and other Seafood in the area and they are not planning to reopen according to the spokesman I talked to. It's been a great 15 years! Thank you El Segundo fish. Addendum: what is the absolute last day I can come and get a meal at the restaurant next week?

I just heard that El Segundo Fish Company, is now closed for business. So sorry to see them go. Why give a one star review for that? We are not leaving by choice, they are tearing down the building.

I've worked I Rl Segundo for awhile and never ate at this place. My friend got the fried shrimp which is a light tempura like batter. It was amazing as was the corn. I got the blackened salmon with grilled asparagus and Caesar salad. All of it was delicious. They also have a barrel of peanuts to nosh on while you wait but there was no wait. So our server brought some to the table. Let's chat about the server...Felix. He's been there 10 years and knows the history of the place. He was so nice and accommodating!!! The food was good but the service (Felix) was GREAT!!!

I've had Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips all over So. California. These have got to be one of the best, if not The best. They were served in a newspaper looking paper, the chunky chips were piping hot, seasoned right. The restaurant was very clean and the staff 5*. I'll be back!

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! I had Jumbalaya it was mostly rice, 1 chunk of chicken, 3 pieces of sausage. My GF ordered the shrimp Po Boy with no tomatoes, it came with tomatoes. Sent it back they simply wiped all.of the sauce off and brought her back the same sandwich with no sauce. As she was drinking her beer there were huge chunks floating in it. They brought out another and the same thing. As we sat there a lady came in to pick up her order and that was wrong. And the tables are so that you smash you kneee as you sit down. Server Roberto was great and did his best. STAY AWAY!!!
Although the service was stretched thin, the food was wonderful. We found this little hole in the wall online. It's in a small unassuming strip mall.

We were there for dinner on Wednesday. The restaurant was half full. It was a "kids eat free Wednesday" and half of the customers were bringing their kids and all of them were behaving nicely. Seemed like a kid-friendly nice restaurant but it just turned out a bad experience. We ordered fish plates. My bf wasn't impressed by the sea bass and clam chowder. My grilled salmon was good. I think food itself was average and nothing to fuss about. However their service was terrible. Not only that was slow, the cashier misplaced my bf's credit card and charged a way beyond what we expected for two fish dinners and two beers. $107.87??? No way! We didn't order any bottle of wine! He had to come back for disputing with the cashier. He was pretty upset. We won't go back there again......!

Would definitely eat at this restaurant again. Food prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. Staff was polite and professional.

I frequent this establishment for lunch on a fairly regular basis and the food is usually good. Recently, I was served a bad piece of salmon with my Cesar salad. "Bad piece" meaning the taste and smell of the fish was obviously past its prime.
