Coming to El Tarasco, I really had low expectations for this place. However, I will say it isn't bad. It gets your taco craving fix in with easy parking and an authentic vibe from the restaurant. I went in for a taco Tuesday and the service was very quick. I would recommend and I would rate it more of a 3.5. I need to try the different foods to see if I can give a higher rating but the tacos were decent.

The service is so good. They make sure that you are enjoying your food. We really like their tacos...any kind of tacos. They are so nice! When we need a consistently good meal, we go to El Tarasco in El Segundo. The best Mexican restaurant in the world!!!!!

You can see the Pacific Ocean out the window! I had a asada burrito and an orange bang! The meat was so tender! I could only eat half because it was huge! Very nice people working there, so friendly and it was clean!

Despite some initial confusion upon arriving at the restaurant, I have to say that the food was actually decent. However, my overall experience was dampened by a few factors. When I first walked in, I wasn't sure where to go or what to do. There were no clear signs or instructions, and the layout of the restaurant was a bit confusing. I had to ask a random person if I should just find a table and then wait for the waiter to bring me a menu. Although he was friendly, it was clear that he was overwhelmed as he seemed to be the only server working at the time. This led to longer wait times for everything, from getting our orders taken to receiving our food. The restaurant decor also left much to be desired. It was outdated. Overall, while the food itself was enjoyable, the lack of organization and subpar ambiance took away from the overall dining experience.

When I lived in El Segundo, El Tarasco was a weekly staple. I'm a big fan of their Carnitas plate. Generous portions, you can usually get two meals out of it, I could get three. The owner is always nice and accommodating if you can be. The food is well pricedfor what you get. They're quick and great parking in the back typically. After you're good on, go down and have a beer at El Segundo brewery.

Classic mid scale Mexican food. Think of it as a cross between the hole in the wall Mexican food that you crave (that's high praise from me!) and a casual sit down place. All the food is fantastic, great service, and good prices, especially for where it is.
Solid Americanized Mexican food at reasonable prices. Lots of entree w/beans and rice options for $10-$12. Looks like a hole in the wall

The food was great and very flavorful! They have Margaritas on the menu, but they are not made with tequila. They are made with wine. So if you have to have a Margarita with your Mexican food, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for delicious authentic Mexican, give them a try. You can have a drink across the street after you eat.

Really good carnitas!! Super nice people, quick service. We walked into an empty restaurant, built was quickly obvious everyone loves it and has a take out habit. One kid got a tamale, the other got Talapia. Both were very good! I highly recommend El
