I have been a big fan of Fleming’s for many years. Last Sunday we went there to celebrate a birthday, and took advantage of their promotion of a surf and turf special, a good size lobster tail and a 11 ounce filet mignon. Food was cooked perfect, Mr. Jackson’s service was excellent, price was reasonable. A planned one and half hour dinner turned into a very enjoyable 2 and half. We had a blast!

The food quality and dining experience has significantly downgraded since last year. The waiters are still as nice as ever. My husband and I would frequent Fleming's for our wedding anniversary and Valentine's Day because the tomahawk was perfectly cooked and we loved the amount of care they put in to make our day special. In the past, they adorned our table with heart-shaped confetti and a sweet anniversary card. Now, the tomahawk is dry and unevenly cooked. And they seemed surprised when it was our anniversary even though our reservation said it was our anniversary. The kitchen and waiters seemed very rushed, unprepared, and frantically running around even though there were only five other tables in the restaurant. There is a clear lack of presentation in the food and it has only been less than a year since the last time we went. I have included photos of the tomahawk before and after. We made it a tradition to come here, but after this experience, it is very hard to keep it. We're very disappointed in our experience with the food and presentation.

Flemings in El Segundo is one of our favorite places to dine out. Great service and they serve absolutely THE best steaks you'll find anywhere. Our favorite server Dell,and the manager Nabil always make each visit especially enjoyable. Highly recommend both of them as well as Flemings.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and are glad that we decided to give them a try. We showed up before our reservation time, but the table was quickly prepped for our special event and didn't have to wait long at all. The staff frequently stopped by the table to check in on us (but to a point where it was intrusive) - we even had a manager guest appearance to make sure the food was prepared to our liking - I noticed that a table next to us asked for some some condiments and instead of sending a server to do it, she actually went and do it herself (bravo for now passing the buck just because you're the manager). Food was terrific! My wife and I both really enjoyed everything from the lobster Mac, mashed potatoes, and asparagus; however, my wife asked for blue cheese to be added on top of her filet mignon and the chef did go a bit HAMF with the topping, next time we'll probably just get it in the side. Still an overall 9/10 for the food from us! Since we reserved time to have an earlier dinner it wasn't too busy or loud, which was perfect for us to enjoy our dinner time conversations. We will definitely be back in the future!

We chose to celebrate our 20th anniversary here. Most of the service on 2.6.24 night was not friendly. Some of the hosts were saying the wait was really long for a booth as if they were annoyed we wanted a booth. So we opted for a table. Not even 10mins later, 2 booths opened up. It felt pressured since they exaggerated the wait time. Then Our server mumbled what kind of butter he brought to the table. No hello, no eye contact. Our other server Dale (I think that was his name), was really nice and attentive. Then the valet, didn't bring our car to us and just said "it's over there", while pointing to it on the street while it was raining. I get it, it's right there but at least offer to bring it up. We paid for valet. We won't be going back. I wonder if the area may have something to do with the influence of personalities we received. Or maybe it's just the weekday employees? The experience was disappointing because I made a reservation and specifically said it’s for our 20th anniversary. We weren’t offered the little box of chocolates for special occasions either. My husband spent over $400 plus 18% tip. I have shared my experience with my friends and family. We won’t be going back.

Everything was great. The ambitious, quality, and our waiter named Maui was superb, total VIP service I must give a shout out. We will revisit Flemings in El Segundo
They took us to the worst table (why do they always do that)? Once seated at a new table we waited at least 15 min for someone to come over and take our drink order. After that things were ok. Our waiter Andy was nice. The Cesar salad had capers on it which is weird and something else that wasn't necessary. It was good otherwise. Lastly I have an issue with restaurant's charging $60 plus for a steak and not giving you sides. The side dishes were 17 to 20 addition which is ridiculous. Long story short it was ok but not worth it.

The hostesses seemed asleep at the wheel. They didn't greet me when I entered, and even though I was standing at the podium they didn't offer to assistance until I made a comment. We were only a party of 2 and despite my direct request to wish my partner a Happy Birthday, yet she still asked whose birthday it was twice. The food was very good, but not great. However, our server, Mr. Jackson, was OUTSTANDING!!! He demonstrated unwavering professionalism and excellent customer service! We typically go to the location in Pasadena, but came to El Segundo due to its close proximity. Going forward, we'll stick with Pasadena.

The clientele has changed, well at least for Valentine’s Day… I guess formal attire is not to be expected… and they let you bring your newborn child after 9pm?… it was fun while it lasted.
