Flora Rooftop Bar and Lounge

This place is an adorable rooftop bar in the AC hotel on the 6th Floor. You can take the special elevator on the left or the regular ones on the right.
There's free parking on the street so you don't need to park in the hotel.
Our group got the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, and heard it was good. The flat bread was also tasty, although cut a little interesting in a diagonal shape. The flora fries were huge, perfectly cooked and with a lot of garlic! It was really good. I ordered the ahi tuna poke with the rice and ir was perfect. The crispy rice wasn't rock hard like other places, so you don't feel like you chipped a tooth. It was a little soft and chewy.

For drinks, I got the Fall Spritz, and sorry I can't believe I didn't take a picture of it but it was delish!

The service was good, we went before 8pm Social Hour so it wasn't as busy and the servers were attentive. There were only 2 for the entire roof top. It did get a lot busier at 8pm. This place is super cute for a date night and a lot of fire pits and heaters made it nice and cozy.

Such amazing cocktails made by Athena and both her and Ray had the most amazing customer service!! Ray broke down the menu for us and we felt very taken care of. The chicken sandwhich was fantastic!! We would drive back from San Diego just to come here for the superior service.

Great service- the 2 female bartenders were so friendly and accommodating... and the best spicy tuna/ crispy rice I have had! (aka poke on the menu).

Never have I ever experienced such bad service I had to sit myself get my own menu and get my own drinks I had to walk up every time I needed something servers only came to my table 45 minutes later to bring my food out and check very very disappointed

It's such a lovely rooftop with fire side tables. Amazing service, delicious cocktails, good food and perfect ambiance.

The ambience at Flora is great during the warm months when you want that Cali sun shining on your face as well as during the cool months when the ocean breeze picks up pace. The communal counter fire pit option is great for walk-ins. If you have a larger party and want a cozy fire pit, definitely book a reservation well in advance. Staff is attentive and the food options are great!

calm, inviting rooftop with a comfortable, intimate atmosphere 🍷 you can watch planes glide across the sky, sometimes up to 7 at once. perfect spot to unwind after a flight, or if you’re staying in the LAX area for a short amount of time.

Awesome time, great place. Our Selena made sure to lookout for me as I have a seafood allergy. Moreover, she was attentive and always available and insightful when answering our questions (we are not an easy group to deal with either)!

Pleasant place, not much of a view but the lounge itself is very cool and comfortable. Food was better than I expected for a lounge. The night we visited it was terribly understaffed. Our waitress did an almost super-human job running from table to table trying to keep everyone happy. She did the job of three, at least.

Great on Sunday night and sucks on Monday. They are open later on Sunday and have a much better staff on Sunday. Monday sucks, lousy happy hour with no beer and they close at 9. The manager on Monday is a corporate shrill and just sucks the life out of the experience. Could be great but they choose not to.

It was a nice, ambient atmosphere but a bit expensive. One alcoholic drink, one non-alcoholic drink and an appetizer of guacamole and chips cost me $50.00. Definitely not worth the price but I know how to order next time.
