Food was authentic. We almost skipped this place because no one answered the phone and a generic vm played. Strongly suggest if they don’t want to pick up the phone they should make a custom vm relaying the business name and hours they are open.
Excellent Konkan food in particular Goan food. They have a chef from Goa, Mario, so truly authentic Mandovi food! Parking is available! Derrick the servor c** cashier is helpful
Authentic Goan flavors! Took the Prawns Okra curry - comes with a side of rice and it was great. They seemed to have limited the items on their menu, probably due to the pandemic. Service was a little slow due staffing issues, but our server was quite friendly
This place was excellent. Great goan food. The server Derek was super nice and the service was excellent although he was super busy and was by himself. We got to see the chef Mario for afar as he was super busy as well. A great place to go especially of you are in the LAX area.
The food was really good. We ordered the King fish curry. The gravy was uniquely tasty. The service was also quick. The restaurant is a little empty.
One word….WOW!!! I usually don’t write reviews unless the place is bad to steer people away, but this place deserves SIX STARS!! Amazing food, the servers are super nice and the service is impeccable. He asked when I was ready for my food, it came out right when I wanted it and piping hot. But what really blew me away was the taste. It was all so good, I wanted to just keep eating. Definitely a place to stop if you’re on your way home from LAX, just in the area or craving some delicious Indian food!!
Came here for the first time looking at their Sunday timings at sharp 11.00 am as it said it opens at 11.00 am on Sunday on Google. When I arrived the restaurant was shut. The timings on the doors said “Sunday closed”. Waited till 11.05 am and drove away. After a while we just thought of checking again by calling them and to our surprise they were open. Then why the hell does your timing outside the door are different from the timings on Google ?? Clearly depicts that it lacks consistency. Whoever the manager/ owner is, please wake up and look into these small things cause guess what you might be losing a lot of business because of these small things. We went else where and really enjoyed the food.
Cozy Indian spot in El Segundo. Came here for dinner around 7:30pm after a day at El Porto, as it was one of the closest spots to grab Indian food. There was no wait to be seated. Indoor seating only, no outdoor options. Takeout is available as well. There's a small parking lot in the front. Men's and women's single occupant washrooms are available. Credit cards are accepted. The food is good, particularly the butter chicken. We got a medium spicy, but I think we could have gone with the next level up. They provide some papadum and chutney to much on while you wait, but we also ordered some samosas (they come in two) which came piping hot. The goat xacuti had a veeerrryy strong flavor that mellows out of you have it as leftovers. The mango lassi was very sweet and creamy, although unfortunately they did run out when we tried ordering a second one.
Best Goan food in town! fish curry and fish fry is very delicious! Also, chicken 65 is must try!
The food was delicious and the service was good. The only drawback where the little ants that were falling from the curtains near the window.
Restaurantji Recommends
The food is very good.Staff are friendly.Extremely slow service. 45-50 minute wait for carry out sometimes. Worth the wait.
Great Indian food. Service us always excellent ?
Nice ambience, good food. Really liked their Gobi Manchurian and panneer dish. Go easy on the spice level though
Delicious Goan food! Their lamb fry is the best and other curry dishes was great.
Amazing indian food, especially the Goan dishes on the menu. Have been coming here for years whenever I am in LA and this place always satisfies my urge for classic Indian seafood / Goan style food. The fish fry is out of this world (both kind), the fish curry, shrimp curry with okra and xacuti are very authentic and yummy. The naan and parathas are always perfectly done and the Solkadi is to die for.The fish/ seafood is always fresh and properly prepared.
