I've been to (2) Metropolitan Cafes in El Segundo and Culver. Both locations deliver a calm family friendly ambiance with delicious food and a relaxing environment. Best for brunch with family/ friends and typically my go to recommendation for friends visiting out of town.

Food was served hot and quickly. It felt pretty upscale, very LA, IG, photoworthy; so that was cool. Coffee was good, served with real cream. Service was very professional and prompt, we actually had some glass break, it was cleaned up quickly and we were moved to another table. Our food was as expected, but we didn't necessarily feel like it tasted any better than breakfast somewhere else.

It is a fantastic place with delicious food and service. We had the fish of the day, Chilean sea bass, so refreshing corn arugula salad, goulash, and bean soup. Everything was so delicious, and there were more than enough significant portions. I feel so bad cause we didn't take any photos, but we couldn't wait to eat when the food was served. We’ll be back soon.

One of my favorite places to get breakfast and lunch. Has a European take on the standard dishes that we all love. The staff and managers are always friendly and on top of their game. My favorite breakfast: Been special and Montenegro. Favorite lunch: tuna salad sandwich.

Waiters and management are very unprofessional and rude. Waiters make inappropriate comments about families and discriminate against customers and their manager endorses these behaviors.

This Cafe is a cool road side Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside today. Dog friendly outside! The wait was a bit long. But once server took order, things moved along. Food was good. French toast and omelets. Now if you are cheese sensitive then watch what you order. They use a young fresh mozzarella. And lots of it especially Serbian Americana. The Bern Special is nice to. And thank God for Mimosas!

We really enjoyed this modern yet quaint cafe in the heart of the “Gundo”. Inside dining is nice…outside sidewalk dining is nicer. Our server, Geovani, was awesome! The food was good overall and I guess $19 for a sandwich is normal in LA (clearly I am a tourist). That said, we liked it a lot and will be back again!
