Busy night (glad we had a ressy). Short wait at bar, seated on patio, great waiter, and delicious food. Split truffle garlic bread, crudo, Spicy meatball pizza, and short ribs. All were great, especially short ribs with mushroom risotto.
North Italia is always great food but is typically challenging to get reservations. I did have reservations set for 6:30pm but did not get seated until 7:15pm. No apologies, just a constant reminder that they were waiting for tables to be cleared. Duh. Will always go back to one of their locations but be aware that my reservation time is only a suggestion and not a hard time frame.
some tasty food and an excellent waiter whose name I think was Brandin W. He was very attentive and went out of his was to assist us.
They gave us the table that we asked for in the corner and the waiter that serves that area is outstanding. Nice experience as expected!
We tried the DineLA menu and were happy with our selections. All the food we had was delicious and the food was delivered in a timely manner.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations or pair the perfect wine with your meal. Overall, North Italia provides an exceptional dining experience that'll have you coming back for more. Highly recommended!
The food is always delicious- I had the branzino- it was a good size for 37 $ served with roasted veggies and paired with a buttery white wine -my meal was absolutely delicious!!
Excellent staff. The best. Very tuned in to me. My needs for a biz lunch. Food presence for my guest accommodated no issue.
Our first time dining at North Italia in El Segundo for lunch. Great location, food, service and ambiance. Delicious food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend going and trying their food.
The spaghetti and meatballs are amazing! The budino is delicious... I would say that I asked to taste a wine, and the server brought a bigger pour @$24 without telling me. I thought I had ordered a small pour. v.

Unfortunately had a disappointing meal. The bright spot was the service. Despite it being very crowded and loud, service was attentive and timely. Cocktails were great but then the food let us down. We did the LA Dine menu. Bad idea. Arugula and avocado salad was supposed to come with shaved fennel. Fennel wasn't shaved but cut in large chunks. Pasta was dismal. I had the bolognese which I've enjoyed before. But my dish came with overcooked pappardelle that despite being mushy was still lumped together in the bowl like when you cook dried pasta but forget to stir and separate the pasta strands. The “meat” sauce had way too much tomato in it so that it was more marinara than bolognese. Desserts were awful. The lady fingers in the tiramisu were crunchy having obviously not been soaked well enough. The caramel sundae was so salty it over powered any sweet and the bananas in the dessert were unripe, green and hard. Two bites and out. Tough night for the kitchen.
Hostesses were very accommodating as we arrived early for our reservation. Waiters were clearly not interested in our table. Had to wait for a hello from waiter. Food took awhile, came out separately and then no one came back to check on the food or bring the olive oil requested when ordering. Simple things, nothing complicated. Bolognese was delicious and would recommend. Pizza was good but would stick with pasta.
It was surely busy and was understandable but the service was not up to par. Again, I understand that it was busy but server was not attentive and no updates of what is happening that even our waters, we had to wait for it.
We love North Italia El Segundo - our favorite in the South Bay. Food is always great and service friendly and attentive.
We received a wrong item. I also indicated we were celebrating a Birthday, the server did not acknowledged ( which is fine), but y ask if it is a special occasion???
