We had a great date night. However, it was very loud. The food was good. It was a bit salty. The simple salad and the Caesar salad salad were excellent. Perhaps a little lighter on the dressing. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were strong, which is a good thing. We notice that we have North Italia in San Diego, so we will go back and try it again.
Our server was great, but the expo female person that brought out our dinner was not friendly at all. She put our plates down hard, turned and left very fast. Our server was great, friendly, and knowledgeable, and checked if we needed anything, Even though she had a big party to server.
Great brunch! Delicious. The eggs in purgatory were perfectly spicy. The crispy hash browns amazing! The banana coffee cake was so good. Perfect lattes. Fantastic patio. Great service. I love this place!
First time with my husband and his 23 year old daughter. We enjoyed the ambiance, the food, wine and most of all our waiter, Wyatt. He was very attentive and knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely want us to have a great experience. Next time we will request his section.
Two out of three entrees were very good. The third (lasagna) was tasty but too soupy for my tastes... Still hoping to find a restaurant somewhere with good food and service and with a comfortable noise level. It was OK at 4:30p on a Sunday but by 6:00p was just too dang loud. Once again, settling for two out of three on the dining enjoyment scale.
Absolutely love coming to this location. The food and drinks are always amazing! Gabby is the best!!
The bolognese was horrible- it was watered down and tasteless. We asked the server about it & she confirmed they changed the recipe for this item & others, as well to save money. We won't be going back to North Italia any time soon. Disappointed customer!
I took my wife to North Italia on a date night and she had not been home for almost a month. There's some specific foods that she loves so I knew she would enjoy that. However, the evening was really just spoiled by poor service and mediocre quality food. She ordered a gluten-free pizza and was clear about it. We also split a seizure salad with salmon and I ordered the zucchini chips as an appetizer. The zucchini chips were overcooked, which I didn't say anything about. Then the Caesar salad came split correctly, but they delivered us a regular prosciutto fig pizza instead of gluten-free It took them over 20 to 25 minutes to bring the corrected pizza but we were basically already finished with our dinner. Everyone knows how that can spoil it when you don't have the food when you're supposed to and you're trying to wait for the other to come to finish your other meal so the whole thing was kind of messed up. I'm in Sales and I know how Customer Service works. The waiter should've comped our pizza because it was so late but did not. We then ordered the butter cake and I had a coffee latte to try to improve my mood, but those were not good as well. So all in all it was a very disappointing evening at North Italia in El Segundo. I will eventually go back to that restaurant, and I will tell the manager of my experience. There are too many restaurants in the South Bay that compete for your business to have poor service and poor food on top of it. I leave a decent amount of reviews and normally only on the good ones, but this one really bothered me with our overall experience.
Is our go to place for business meetings, although is a little noisy, food and service is always good.
Large party was expertly cared for by the staff. When an additional party member showed up, the staff quickly added a table. When one diner waited a little longer for a meal, the chef added and additional half piece of chicken parmesan to her plate. All enjoyed their meal!

Alexa our server was just FABULOUS :) you can tell she genuinely loves her job. Great personality. Excellent excellent customer service you can tell it's not forced. It just comes natural. Ordered a pasta dish with shrimp for my partner, pasta was delicious. Shrimp was a tad bit dry I had a tortellini with a red sauce. It was pretty good. Our cocktails were excellent Zuka chips very tasty. I noticed the portion was much smaller than a few years ago much smaller . Why NO BREAD we ordered bread with oil literally two pieces of bread cut in half made into four a little pricey for two pieces of bread :( thank you again, Alexa for your wonderful customer service North Italia keep up the great training for your employees
Wonderful restaurant. Everything is delicious! Our personal favorites: WHITE TRUFFLE GARLIC BREAD!, Caesar salad, Pizza (esp for sharing)! , Tortelonni Pomodoro, Chicken Parm, Shrimp scampi appetizer and Bambolinis for dessert. Service is great (Krista our favorite!)...even when items slow/delayed...they handle well. Just be patient on busy nights...especially weekends.
My bestie and I will come here especially for the seasonal Burrata and are always excited to see how they switch it up... One could say, the seasonal Burrata keeps us on our Burra-toes. :-) everything is good here though!
The whole staff has always been amazing- especially G and Gabby!

The pizza was delicious. So much cheese. Crust was the perfect thickness. Service was wonderful! They really put their best foot forward from the moment you get here to the end. Always checking on you and refilling your drink. 5 stars is not enough.

It is no wonder why North Italia is always a busy place. The food is very good, and the menu does not give enough description---which is the reason I am commenting on the excellent service received by a particular server. Her name is Jordan and when we asked about various items, her face lit up and she enthusiastically described them in mouth-watering detail. It was obvious that she loves the food there and describes the ingredients, etc. so that she can recommend and determine the customer's preferences. We were so impressed that we asked her to send over her manager, Jasmine so we could tell her about our experience. She was equally proud of the food and service they provide at North Italia and employees there make the experience worthwhile.
