Unfortunately had a disappointing meal. The bright spot was the service. Despite it being very crowded and loud, service was attentive and timely. Cocktails were great but then the food let us down. We did the LA Dine menu. Bad idea. Arugula and avocado salad was supposed to come with shaved fennel. Fennel wasn't shaved but cut in large chunks. Pasta was dismal. Great place but the food is often inconsistent, like the shrimp scampi and the crispy calamari... should pay more attention...went back again and seeing a bit of improvement...keep it up guys 👍🏻
We had a great date night. However, it was very loud. The food was good. It was a bit salty. The simple salad and the Caesar salad salad were excellent. Perhaps a little lighter on the dressing. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were strong, which is a good thing. We notice that we have North Italia in San Diego, so we will go back and try it again.
