Not spectacular. For the price of a cup of coffee, this is what I expected. I came in to try it out. I bought a Churro drink for my wife and the oatmeal cookie coffee for myself. I asked if they could make it without sugar, and they said yes, which surprised me. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that it was just the other ingredients, minus any sweetener. It tasted like dry cinnamon and nutmeg were added. Was definitely not worth the $8 or what ever I paid for the drink, not to mention that it took 20+ minutes for two coffees, they ended up getting one of the drinks wrong and had to remake it and I had to listen to the manager or whatever chastise three employees for not putting the nutmeg in the right place.

Philz Coffee El Segundo is a solid spot for a great cup of coffee. The handcrafted brews are consistently smooth and flavorful, and it’s easy to see why Philz has such a loyal following. I appreciate that each cup is made to order, so you really get a personalized experience.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a nice place to sit and enjoy your drink or get a bit of work done. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, though during busy times the wait can be a little long since everything is made fresh.
Overall, great coffee and a comfortable vibe. If you don’t mind waiting a bit for quality, Philz Coffee El Segundo is definitely worth a visit.

Great little spot! walked over from the Westdrift in the mornings for coffee and pastries for my crew. Had AMAZING ice coffee.. they checked every time to make sure it was tasting just right. It was open on Thanksgiving, which was nice for me!

This is my quick pick me up spot. Its the place i go get my coffee when i want something strong and sweet 😁. They prepare it great everything and it does get crowded on the weekdays and i try to order ahead at times bit sometimes i just need to go in. The pastries are grwat as well and sometimes good to mix it up and try something different. Their seasonal drinks will always give you something new. Also the outdoor seating is nice and the music they play give chill vibes. Not to expensive and just great place to chill with friends, work on laptop, study, and just drink a cup of coffee.

I hard the strong roast Simon ***. Strange that they do not have regular milk, only almond, oat and skim milk. Kind of spoilt the experience. The coffee was nicely strong and better than the average Starbucks. Their barristers took their time and business was good. Lots of bakery items on sale as well.
