I am just going to say it, I am a coffee snob. Starbucks doesn't do it for me, but Philz really does! The honey haze cold brew is out of this world! Truly top notch. Strong and flavorful without being too sweet. I've tried several of their menu items and they are all fantastic! They have top quality pastries as well. I highly recommend the chocolate croissant with a coffee. I don't know how a chain could be this good, but it is.

The service excellent, and quick with a smile by both ladies who took and completed my order. Very informative and interactive and engaging. The store itself seemed worn and tawdry inside. Could use another bench to sit on inside while waiting for coffee order. I have back and knee issues. But workers and quality of coffee just the best. Am impressed and at my senior age that’s a compliment!Drinking the brew I brought home and very surprised by how tasty and non acidic. Perfect.

Jackson was great! Very nice, very energetic and helped us out tremendously. Made our drink great also. I've been here plenty of times but Jackson has Ben one of the best experiences. Came in a few minutes befor closing and he was happy to help us.

I came to Philz Coffee for the first time today. I’ve been meaning to try it and was in the area so I stopped by.Sadly, they don’t have any Matcha ?. I’m not a huge coffee person but I got the Gingersnap iced coffee with almond milk and medium sweet. I appreciated the time the employee took to explain to me how things work there and how they prepare their drinks. He gave me two suggestions but I went with the gingersnap. The barista was also very nice when he called my name he asked me to taste it to make sure it was up to my standard which I was surprised at. That’s a very nice touch to the experience. Since I had nothing to compare it to I said it was fine and was on my way.There’s a nice seating area outside and some nice artwork inside. After drinking the drink more, I appreciated the tastes of blended spices, the caffeine in it is STRONG though and personally if I ordered it again I’d ask them to mix in a higher volume of almond milk to balance it out. They had another drink with caramel and oat milk. I probably would’ve liked that one better and will be back to give it a try. Stay tuned I’ll be sure to update my review once I’ve gone back.Love the mission and story behind Philz and for that alone I’d support them.

I placed my order at 8:50 am choosing ASAP pick up. Arrived at pick up time 9:30 am. 40 min after placing my order. The order was not ready. The only reason I received my order was because I saw multiple people walk in after and have placed their order in the store and received their order and asked. This Philz does nothing to prioritize mobile orders. After waiting I received my order almost an hour after placing it. On top of waiting for my drink and watching the manager ask the workers to prioritize my drink, my drink did not taste good very burnt taste. I thought the point of mobile ordering is so that your order is ready by the time to get there. 40 min is more than enough time to have 2 coffees ready. Needless to say, this was not a good visit. I've ordered on Uber Eats and it's quicker than this. I understand it was a rush and busy but this was ridiculous.NEVER AGAIN!

My friend brought me an iced mint mojito during my recent visit. I must admit that hands down the mint mojito cold brew coffee is my go to and favorite. Too bad I can get this on the east coast. It was perfect. A coffee with full flavors, just perfect.

This place is not an "everyday" place for me. The coffee is borderline, pretentious, and overall subpar. I come for the food on the way to work but tend to be let down too much to deal with this daily. I respect what the company is trying to do and the culture they are trying to cultivate but it's falling short. The staff is friendly(-ish) but when the rushes hit it seems like the priorities go out the window. They don't vocalize and direct customers and so you end up with a human bloodclot at the pickup counter. The cashiers (recently) are too busy talking to eachother or "singing for their supper" to charm people for tips and holding up the line and the handoff. I have seen food come out or stay in their oven for several minutes because they are too busy chatting it up. Occasionally I see some gross actions like a wiping their hands on their pride flag or coughing into their hands and then wrapping up food. They need to establish some order because I am about ready to just rely on Starbucks and their consistency and dedication to performance. Philz tries hard but their reliability is slipping hard.
