Love this place. Great spot before a show in Inglewood

Just what I needed! Id been craving an espresso martini & a good steak, so this place hit the spot!

I sat at the bar, was greeted and helped right away, both bartenders were fabulous! I ordered the wagyu steak with mashed potatoes and it was seated, seasoned & cooked perfectly! I was glutinous and got the dessert as well to go! It as delicious too! I will definitely be stopping by next time im in the area visiting!

Beautifully decorated steakhouse in downtown El Segundo. Free street parking and a free parking garage about a half a block away.
Happy Hour during the week from 4 to 5:30. Nice little, fully stocked bar with about 8 stools right up front. About three high-top tables in the same area.
The dining area gets darker (lighting) after that, some tables and booths. Then a nice, covered, outdoor patio in the back past the bathrooms.
Why only four stars? One reason is that they charge you for bread. 🤔 I figure when I'm spending $60+ on a steak, I should at a minimum, be offered some free bread while I wait for my appetizer or main entrée. This nickel and diming when I'm spending $100 for a entrée and cocktail doesn't sit well with me.
But, the food is very good and the presentation is high quality.
Worth a shot if you're in the area and...enjoy!

We have been hear a number of times. We have tried about everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. They cook your food as you request. They have great cocktails and nice wine list. All the waiters have been professional yet fun and knowledgeable. There are 2 atmospheres in the restaurant one for the front and one for the back no sure which one is better but we love them both

Enjoyed everything we tasted. Steaks, fish, crab, apps, and sides. They had a decent drink list and the staff knew all their selections and were able to provide detailed descriptions and recommendations.

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between classic steakhouse charm and modern chic. The lighting is warm and inviting, creating an intimate setting ideal for a special occasion or a memorable night out. Plush seating and tasteful decor contribute to a sense of comfort and luxury, making you feel instantly at ease.

Now, let's talk about the food. The menu is a testament to quality and precision, with each dish perfectly crafted. As expected, the steaks are the stars of the show. I opted for Wagyu NY, and it was nothing short of magnificent. Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, it boasted a beautiful crust and a tender, juicy interior that melted in the mouth. The flavor was rich and robust, a true celebration of premium beef.

What truly elevates the Porterhouse experience, however, is the service. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest has an exceptional time. Our server was a true professional, offering insightful recommendations and anticipating our needs with grace and efficiency. A special mention must go to the French wine guy, whose passion and knowledge transformed our wine selection into an educational and delightful journey. His recommendations perfectly complemented our meal, elevating the entire dining experience. From the warm welcome at the door to the seamless pacing of the meal, every interaction was a testament to their commitment to excellence.

To cap off the evening, the dessert menu offers a tempting array of sweet delights. The chocolate was a decadent finale, leaving a lasting impression of culinary bliss.

Porterhouse in El Segundo isn't just a meal; it's an occasion. It's where memories are made, where every detail is considered, and where the passion for fine dining shines through in every aspect. If you're seeking an unparalleled steakhouse experience in the South Bay, look no further. Porterhouse is, without a doubt, a shining star.

Took my wife for a birthday dinner. The sides were great, and the Australian wagyu ribeye I ordered was prepared properly medium rare. My wife ordered a prime ribeye medium rare - it came out over, and she sent it back because a $75 steak should be cooked correctly. The second attempt was even more over. They acknowledged the first attempt and comped her steak completely, but sadly she never got the medium rare steak she wanted. For a steakhouse making a signature steak on the menu, it was a real disappointment.

Enjoyed a first date here. The food was phenomenal! We had the fried oysters appetizer (explosion of flavor)! I had the 8oz filet mignon very flavourful melt in your mouth! The creamy street corn and the fingerling potatoes were fabulous! The food here was worth every penny spent!
