My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday and the evening was wonderful. We had a Caesar salad to start and it was delicious. I had to order the Wagyu filet and we added several sides- perfectly cooked and a great pairing. My husband enjoyed the seasonal Cajun pappardelle pasta very much. The manager Ricky was attentive and truly elevated the experience. We are lucky to have such an incredible restaurant in El Segundo.
We had a Christmas gathering with a group of old friends. We get together every year for dinner and drinks to catch up with everyone. Porterhouse knocked it out of the park. The restaurant is beautiful, service was top notch and the food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant, can't wait to come back.
My husbands filet was tiny. Definitely not worth the price. My son's ribeye was served cool as were our potatoes. We came when they first opened and loved it. The only thing we really enjoyed was the street corn and shrimp cocktail.
Porterhouse is usually an outstanding restaurant - both food and service. This time, while the food was as usual excellent, the service was poor at best. Needs were not anticipated, had to ask for things like filling water glasses, a 2nd glass of wine, and virtually everything. They did not check in when needed. Sadly, as good as the food is, we likely won't be back.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Southern California! The food is absolutely incredible, the drinks are fantastic, and the service is impeccable! To put it in perspective, I live 1.5 hours away and will make the drive every opportunity I can to come to this place. If I am flying in or out of LAX, this steakhouse is a must stop for me as well. The steaks are mouthwatering, the oysters will blow your mind, and literally everything I've tasted has blown me away. I eat a lot of steak, and the wagyu ribeye is literally the best steak I've ever had in my life. If you want to impress someone, BRING THEM TO THIS RESTAURANT! You will not be disappointed!
The food and the service is very consistent! Erin always makes our visits enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
We try to get back to Porterhouse ever 6-8 weeks. The restaurant does it all really well. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth. Service was attentive. The only negative on this visit was a sticky bourbon glass. This is the first time I experienced it, so I am sure it is a one off. I was always impressed by previous visits with the attention to the glasses. When paying for a drink at a restaurant or bar, the glass should be spotless.
It was an easy uber from our LAX hotel to El Segundo for a very nice dinner at Porterhouse. It's always great to get out of the hotel venues & their limited and overpriced food options. She had the wedge salad and a crab cake, I had the Steak Frites Thursday special. All of it was excellent and tasty. The large slabs of bacon on that wedge salad were wow. A nice bourbon, whiskey and scotch menu, fantastic service, and a freebie birthday dessert were perfect compliments to an excellent dinner. I've already recommended it to some of my SoCal resident friends.
Never disappoints, the food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable for a higher-end type place and the drinks are always spot on
Another great dinner! A shout out to Marie and the rest of the team. I got to experience tea and biscuits cheesecake for the first time. I'll be back soon.

Wonderful dinner for a birthday celebration! Food was excellent and we had the BEST service with our waiter Erin- she's fantastic! Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
Cute little restaurant with great service. The steaks are above average, cooked perfectly, but they are definitely lacked seasoning. A good steak should be seasoned right and not require any sauces. The sides were all very very heavy and some of our party could not eat them. Not disappointed in going, but more than likely will not return.
My server was amazing and very attentive. The ambiance is nice and it's in a great location. I thought the food was just average and that they were a bit stingy with the wine pours. When you're paying $30 for a glass of wine I think at least 6oz is reasonable. Also for an expensive steakhouse I thought the food was just okay. Not bad at all I was just expecting it to be amazing. Loved the vibe and my server I think her name was Marine? Anyway I'll be back because of her!
Phenomenal service! Ambience was lively and the food was delicious! But what really sold us was the service provided to us from Erin. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu! Cheers!
Service was great. Our table was ready when we arrived. Sat in the patio and it was mellow and relaxing. Steaks were cooked perfectly with amazing apps and desserts. Would highly recommend.
