5/5 food, atmosphere and service! True fine dining experience!
Amazing! Everything was perfect. Numerous times there and... absolutely never disappoints. Kudos to the entire team!
Enjoyed a first date here. The food was phenomenal! We had the fried oysters appetizer (explosion of flavor)! I had the 8oz filet mignon very flavourful melt in your mouth! The creamy street corn and the fingerling potatoes were fabulous! The food here was worth every penny spent!
Hands down, best steak(s) my partner and I have ever had. Cooked to perfection, tender but not so much that you get tired of it. Excellent meal, we’ll be back!!
We tried Porterhouse on a whim a few weeks ago and they were just opening for the evening. Service was superb, did was fantastic. Best filet mignon I’ve had in years. My friend loved her entree salad. Good value for the quality.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere, perfect steaks and great service.
Atmosphere is great in here foods are great desserts are okay
I have nothing bad to say. The steaks were flavored and cooked to perfection. The asparagus and street corn were delicious also. We then enjoyed the cheesecake and salted caramel dessert. We didn’t want to finish them but they were so good, we felt bad not.
Great place, will go back again. Only disappointment was they wouldn't accommodate a cooking request for a piece of beef we were going to order so just ordered something else, but the food, ambiance and service otherwise was excellent!!
Can't wait to return. Wonderful ambience and the food was so delicious. The drinks were wonderful. Aesthetically pleasing in a perfect area.

Went here for the first time last night with friends. It is sure to be the first of many visits. The Food was So Good! My knife cut through the steak like butter. And the the steak just melted in your mouth. The drinks were top notch. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cozy; not to dark and not bright or loud. the service was great, from the hostess to our waitress, everyone was professional and friendly. This is a Great little gem in El Segundo.
Came here with family and food was awesome. We shared a number of the dishes and all of the dishes were amazing! Chopped Salad, Street Corn, Fingerling Potatoes and both the Ribeye and New York Steaks were all great! Wife and daughter are both Celiac and no issues finding food on the menu that they could eat. Will definately come back next time in LA.
We had a delicious dinner at Porterhouse Bourbon & Bones this past weekend. It is in an excellent location, and beautifully laid out. Our wonderful servers Alonso and Cynthia not only provided superb service and recommendations, but showed great pride in the incredibly diverse and tantalizing menu from appetizers to main courses with a nice selection of steaks to other creative options. There was a long list of bourbons and scotches, as well as a well rounded wine list by the glass or bottle. After cocktails, we shared a delicious Maryland blue crab with a nice sauce and grilled corn. Their Baby Gem Caesar salad was excellent with light, fresh croutons, shaved cheese and an exquisite dressing ~ truly a gem. The Prime Filet and Wagyu New York Steak were delicious and prepared as ordered. Alonso explained the prep of the Creamed Spinach with Blue cheese in a light Mornay sauce and the nice fried fingerlings with tasty bacon lardons. The En Route Russian River Pinot Noir went well with our dinner. So why not 5 stars? In any restaurant experience, the evening starts with the front staff. When my wife checked in, the first encounter with Kennedy the hostess at the front was impersonal, unenthusiastic, robotic and rude. We had reservations for a booth because of her bad back, but she was brought back to a small table she couldn't maneuver into even with 5 open booths. Kennedy reluctantly went back to the front. When I walked in, my wife was left standing at the table. When I saw the situation, and inquired at the front, Kennedy was consulting with the French host. After waiting a few more minutes with no recognition or acknowledgment, she was sent back to reseat us at a booth saying we had to leave by 7:00. Fortunately the rest of our dining experience was enjoyable, relaxing and delicious. I am sure Porterhouse Bourbon & Bones would want to know of an employee who does not represent them well. We look forward to dining at Porterhouse again.
The food was excellent. Great steaks. Beautiful ambience. Excellent wine choices. The service was just fair at best this time, although it had been excellent the prior time we were there. Perhaps it's just hit and miss, or perhaps our server lost interest in being careful and courteous to us when we ordered from the DineLA menu (we didn't even know it was DineLA until we got there). But I expect excellent service every time from a high end restaurant.
This was our first time at this restaurant and it was a great experience. We had the DineLA menu and it was delicious. Our waitress Erin was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our selections were amazing and we look forward to our next visit
