Rubio’s has gone downhill in a major way since the original Rubio’s was bought out. It is so overpriced, and when you order a taco with meat, be prepared to be underwhelmed. I have never been to a spot that serves tacos that literally gives you 3 chunks of meat and way too much sauce in anything you order. The salsa bar is legit and the only reason I still visit when I come to LA from Texas. Long time San Diegan here, so I remember the good old days. This place is not what it used to be and I think their days are numbered.

I ordered the Street Corn bowl with Chicken and Shrimp, and since it was Taco Tuesday I got one of each of their tacos(chicken, steaks fish, and fish special). Although I ate the food about 2 hours after getting it due to my own commitments, everything was good. My least favorite taco was the steak taco. I wished there were less black beans in the bowl but other than that, everything was great.

Lobster roll really and 3 tiny slices. And when I asked the manager, he said that’s portion size for $16. Me or my team would never come back.

It failed to follow simple instructions. I asked for no lettuce on my taco and when I got it home there was lettuce on my taco. I'm very disappointed.

It is on the pricier side. It tastes good but I will not eat here often just because of price. They do have taco Tuesday that is affordable that I may try.

I love this Rubios location! They kill it every time! My sweetie and I have been to this location countless times over the last 5 years. Tonight was extra exceptional service. We ordered the shrimp nachos with extra guacamole
...as usual. Such kind staff! So customer focused! So thoughtful! The food is delicous! Thank you guys for running a consistent and excellent operation!

Worst costumer service, I placed an order and selected adds on, when I got home none was included. I called store and a lady answered. When I told her my order is missing items, she said you should have checked your order, I said do you check your food when pick up fast food, she said I do. I told her, instead of saying sorry you are trying to turn the table on me? She said I said sorry( which she never did) and then she hanged up. When I tried to call back to get her name, she hanged up again and then she put it on busy. Rubio, it doesn’t matter we like your food, if this is your customer service, you loose many customers!!!
