This is ny 3rd time coming to this location and it has always been a problem. Today I witness the kitchen staff making food on a contaminated counter where food was every. Then sanitizer water was poured on the counter and wiped down with a dirty rag. As the manager Jackie addressed it but then they continued to make food on the counter as opposed to putting down the paper or box for each order. Jackie took the trash out and came back to serving food and cleaning the salsa bar and didn't wash nobody hands. I waited 30 mins for 2 tacos and when I address it to Jackie she said that they are busy and wanted to go back and forth with me. It pissed me off cause people pay money for food as it's already expensive and this is how customers are treated. I promise I won't be back to this location it's just nasty and no accountability. It's sad cause I really wanted tacos and fries and now I had to drive 30 minutes away to another location. Really annoyed and I will be calling corporate this is unacceptable.

Best fish tacos in the world

We visited yesterday and got some tacos and churros. The food was so so but what really took the cake was the bathroom: One was blocked off, the other had toilet paper on the floor even after a uniformed employee came out of it. I picked up the toilet paper and gave the floor a few wipes and that paper came back black. Even worse, the soap was out and despite being notified of there being no soap, employees kept using that bathroom - apparently without washing their hands with soap and water before presumably handling food again.

Update 18 Apr: I filled in the contact form on the website two days ago as requested but there was no response.

It was just like I remember, I'm going back this Friday.

The fish tacos were cold and had no salsa on top and the tortilla was really cold and there wasn’t hardly any fish on top

The burrito tastes great and fresh. It's a good size. The dining area is comfortable.

Why did my Uber Eats order take over 40 min to prepare? Nothing complicated, just a taco plate!

The service was great, location was clean and tidy, however the rice was undercooked, the food was too salty.

Rubio’s for the WIN! We stopped at the one near LAX - so good!! We don’t have Rubio’s where we live and sought it out. I enjoyed the Original fish tacos and ordered a side of Mexican corn (thought it would be a corn cob) and received a fair serving of corn that was absolutely delicious!!

GREAT food. They listened and cleaned house. The place is spic and span. The food is still delicious. Tried the steak fries today and they are superb. Friendly staff, great food, clean store... stop reading this and go get some steak fries...

Rubio’s has gone downhill in a major way since the original Rubio’s was bought out. It is so overpriced, and when you order a taco with meat, be prepared to be underwhelmed. I have never been to a spot that serves tacos that literally gives you 3 chunks of meat and way too much sauce in anything you order. The salsa bar is legit and the only reason I still visit when I come to LA from Texas. Long time San Diegan here, so I remember the good old days. This place is not what it used to be and I think their days are numbered.
