Just came here for the drinks and they were fantastic. This place has a cool vibe and is located in the heart of main street El Segundo. Friendly staff along with great drinks makes its a solid place to visit.

The food and drinks were fabulous. I had a specialty margarita. This was the beef torta with papas. It was incredibly filling since the sandwich had beans and a decent portion of meat. Service was great and very attentive. We went during lunch and the food came out shortly after we had eaten our appetizers. It had a friendly atmosphere with a great music selection. More than happy to return.

Great restaurant in El Segundo. Reservation for 9 and all food was great and drinks were equally amazing. Carne Asada, Enchiladas, and Shrimp Fajitas were the most notable from our group. Staff were amazing and it was top notch customer service. Definitely recommend.

Went here on a whim to try to happy hour and it didn’t disappoint! I tried one of everything on the menu except the jalapeño poppers (I’m a baby when it comes to spice lol). The croquette was my FAV! Mostly bc I love potatoes in every shape and form haha. Will definitely be a go-to spot when I’m in town! It’s in such a cute area too! Service was top notch.

We got there an hour before posted closing and the service was great. Food was super! We left a few minutes after closing and there was never a rush to get us out so that was great as well.
Excellent Happy Hour menu with food and drinks. Great for groups and very nice space as well. There is street parking and some lots nearby so parking can take some time. The standout dish for me was the Ceviche. It’s not on the HH menu but so unique and delicious with coconut cream giving it a tropical vibe. All the tacos are great too and my favorite is the Al Pastor. Service was nice and quick also. Good place to check out and would love to come back!

I usually don't leave reviews unless I either loved a place or want to warn other people about a place. With Sausal, it's definitely the former.
With the new American Express Platinum refresh, I now get $100 a quarter to spend at any Resy restaurant. We decided to finally check out Sausal, intrigued by their menus online and, specifically, their coconut flan.
Well... Color us extremely impressed! The food was on the slightly pricier side, but it was VERY good and very filling. Every dish we tried was delicious and had substance - it honestly was way more filling than I thought just looking at it. My short rib quesabirria tacos had sooo much meat, and the consomme was amazing. So were the rice and beans. Kiddo ordered a pork shank dish that was super flavorful and came with tortillas, rice, and black beans. They were nice enough to put the chipotle crema on the side too since he's still learning to tolerate spicy food. Partner ordered the cashew mole dish and that, again, was SO good.
The happy hour drinks were bomb too, I loved the vamos a la playa. And again, the drinks had substance... They weren't watered down at all.
The coconut flan... That thing was so good we immediately began thinking about bringing them for family gatherings 🤤 it was perfect.
We'll definitely be going back again and again!
