Smokey Hollow is convenient, quick and has an ambiance that is super chill and welcoming. The cafe is located in a building that’s walking distance from everything so no matter where I order from, my food will be hot and ready. If the food is not ready, there is a courtyard there where you can play ping pong, corn hole, or miniature golf while waiting. Plus the staff Johnny and Kush need a shoutout as they are pleasant and make amazing coffee drinks. I love working in this building and this one of the best amenities offered so prop to the building management team as well!

When I can't make my lattes at home or when I don't meal prep...this is my go-to This place is quick and convenient. It's seems to be 3 consistent staff members that work here, 2 men and a woman...They are very friendly and always playing good music. I do have to say, they seem to giving "millennial/ Gen X vibes". The woman 90% of the time her face is in her phone, most times she doesn't notice people approaching or even when their standing in front of her. But she seems to be getting better at looking up. As long as my order is correct, I really don't if she is on her phone or not. It's always clean and never a line when I come in. There are plenty of places to sit and work if needed. I usually get my two favorites: California Street and A Chi Latte with oat milk. I am in love with the California Street bagel sandwich, always made when ordered and always hits the spot. If your allergic to dogs, please be aware that people will bring their animals in there and some can be aggressive.

Poor logistics, ok food.Coordination is poor - frequently miss online orders and are always backed up at lunch. Example: I placed an online order at 830am for pickup at 11 am. I show up and it turns out they didn’t look at it, so I had to wait 20 min for food. This has happened about 50% of the time I’ve ordered.Pastries and coffee is fine. Food (sandwiches) is inconsistent. Sometimes great, sometimes disappointing.

Great coffee and food, but the lost the good part of my online order… took them 10 minutes to realize the chef wasn’t prepping it. Minimal remorse. Been waiting now 20 minutes since I got here.

I bought a $9 Avocado Toast (I added tomatoes for $1) and though it was good (the bread was fresh, and I added pesto, so), the service was off. The guy who took my order hopped up and set on the counter where they were making drinks, and they gave me my food in a container with smeared avocado and tomato on the top. Dang... you couldn't spare a clean container?
