Complaint – Store #5349 (El Segundo, CA)

I want to report a very disappointing experience I had today at Starbucks Store #5349, located at 2231 Rosecrans Avenue in El Segundo, California.

I placed my order at around 9:50 a.m. Since my job is only eight to ten minutes away, I expected to get in and out quickly. Instead, I ended up being 10 minutes late to work because my order was never prepared.
My receipt number is 684213.

At 10:00 a.m., I asked about my order, and the employees could not find it. I even showed them my receipt—it’s on camera. Customers who came in after me received their orders and left, while I was still waiting for a simple small hot chocolate.

Finally, an employee named Ivan began making it, but only after I asked for the store manager.

The manager on duty, Tiffany, was not professional at all. She was busy talking and gossiping with other employees instead of helping customers. She didn’t acknowledge the inconvenience, didn’t offer an apology, and didn’t try to make the situation better. I felt ignored and unappreciated.

To make things worse, when I finally got on the road and opened my cup, the hot chocolate had no flavor—it tasted like water. It also was not filled to the top, which upset me even more after already being delayed and late to work.

Because of this entire experience, I will not be returning to this Starbucks. I am very disappointed and wanted to make sure this is brought to your attention.

Creative Management

A RUDE FEMALE, CAUCASIAN, HEAVYSET EMPLOYEE RAN HER HANDS THROUGH HER LONG, DARK HAIR AND PULLED IT BACK INTO A PONYTAIL WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS! THE SINK WAS RIGHT THERE, BUT SHE LEFT HAIR RESIDUE ON HER BARE HANDS WHILE PREPARING FOOD AND DRINKS FOR CUSTOMERS! PLUS, SHE WASN'T FRIENDLY. TERRIBLE!ā˜¹ļø

The person who attended me double checked to make sure my order was correct. The person making the coffee showed she was interest in her job as well. Letting me know she had begun making it. So, the coffee came out absolutely perfect. I am very grateful. Thank you to them! šŸ™‚

Took forever to make my drink, and took multiple other orders and served them before me. I ordered one large drink. Giving me attitude for the request, making me feel like my order was some weird request lol. It’s just a chai with espresso shots and oat milk. I used to work at Starbucks and made this in 30 seconds. Poor quality drink as well. Starbucks on Douglas is a lot nicer and better quality!
