We ordered a family meal and a couple plates. Since it was toward the end of the night they were out of a couple options. Marco had great customer service and was extremely polite.

Excellent service, food was delicious. I want to go back and try other items on the menu. The workers were all great, it was a little busy with take out orders but they still came by our table a few times to check if we needed anything.

The harvest chicken is amazing, love the fruits. The backyard stake plate has the best mac and cheese

Located in the heart of El Segundo, Tendergreens is a bright and inviting spot for fresh, seasonal fare. The interior strikes a balance between trendy and approachable, with cheerful yellow bar stools and clean lines creating a comfortable dining atmosphere.
The food here leans toward goodâjust not spectacular. The Bolognese Pasta is hearty but falls short of expectations. While the texture of the rotini is on point, the sauce lacks the rich, tangy âpunchâ that defines a great bolognese. A stronger tomato base could elevate this dish from decent to memorable.
On a brighter note, the seasonal plates showcase the freshness of their ingredients. The roasted fingerling potatoes and seasonal vegetables, including perfectly charred cauliflower and sweet carrots, deliver a satisfying mix of earthy and sweet flavors. The grilled bread is a welcome addition, though it feels more like a filler than a standout.
If youâre looking for a lighter option, the arugula salad with grilled chicken offers a crisp and peppery bite, complemented by tender protein and well-balanced vinaigrette.
The service is efficient, and the setup is refreshingly casualâideal for lunch breaks or a laid-back dinner. Tendergreens shines as a place for clean, well-prepared meals that wonât weigh you down, even if the flavor might not linger in your memory.
Verdict: Worth a visit if youâre in the area and want fresh, healthy options. Just donât come expecting bold flavors.
Pro Tip: The short rib plate seems to be a favorite based on other dinersâ recommendationsâmaybe thatâs the hidden gem we missed!

Hello, good morning, thank you very much for maintaining that very rich flavor. I have been visiting this place for days and very good hospitality. Just one detail I have seen, I don't know if it's only happened to me, but my food doesn't arrive hot as I like it, I don't know if they are very short of staff. But that Pacific Bowl is delicious, thank you very much.
