The ice cream shop is in the middle of shopping stores, with table and chairs to sit and enjoy. The place is kid friedly the staff are nice and you are greeted with a smile. We had the banana bread pudding with fudge and honeycomb fudge ripple. The banana bread pudding tastes good on the first bite but it has an artificial after taste to it, if it doesn't bother you it is a good flavor... but i especially like the honeycomb the crisp added texture to it.

I went back to this location and tried the milkshake, I was pretty disappointed to be honest, especially since it was $11. Big regret not getting ice cream or trying a cookie sandwich instead. Service was still solid and the ambiance at The Point is always great!

In Hawthorne visiting and after dinner tried this wonderful ice cream. They had many different flavors and they also good but this darn "honeycomb" is the bomb! It's so delicious, I wish I'd gotten 2 scoops. The ice cream is pricy, $6.95 a scoop but I must say, it was worth it.

Van Leeuwen at The Point is absolutely amazing!! A must try!! Good spot very central in The Point. Particularly nice location for a ice cream shop for dessert after eating at one of the great restaurants there. They have a lot of creative flavors in addition to rotating seasonal flavors and staple traditional ones. We tend to go for the traditional ice cream sundae. They do a fantastic job and it's a good size to share with someone. Definitely will be back soon!!!
