I wasn't impressed by the food. Anyone can take frozen battered fish and fry it. I ordered the cod and found it to be overcooked and the fish itself was tasteless. The best thing were the onion rings. If I go again, it would only be for the fried veggies. Along with onion rings they offer zucchini and nushrooms.

This place has always been very good, but very pricey too. Now, under new management, the high prices remain, and the quality is still pretty good, but the portion sizes have shrunk considerably. Given that, I can no longer recommend, since it's simply not worth the money spent anymore.

I haven't been here for a while and the place is under new management. I had the one piece and my order came with 2 small pices of fish and a small amount of fries.The fries were undercooked and soggy with oil. The portions are very disappointing.

I believe it's under new ownership. Prices went up a little. My cod was not the usual long pieces it was cut to smaller pieces. No flavor. My fries were soggy. They don't put the Parmesan cheese on your veggies no more. They give you packets to do it yourself. But the lords ice cream still the best. The service was still great.

Been going to this place since they opened up a few years ago n loved it but since the new ownership changed food really got horrible the fish got smaller with no taste the fries were soggy the prawns had more battered the mushrooms I usually order with my meal got cut in half n the price went up close to 50 dollars I really wish that the last owners didn't leave really not sure where to find the next best fish n chips place I guess I got to find it from another city this is my experience went there twice just hoping the first was just a bad day for them but 2nd time same thing will be not going there anymore it sad I was trying to keep my money local paid close to $140 for me n my family and I'm pretty sure some of the viewers feels the same way n if they do I must be saying some truth of my experience just keeping real peace and one love

I went here for the first time as a lover of fish and chips and we had a good experience. The cod combo was a bit pricey but the food quality and taste was good overall and reminded me of the traditional fish and chips you get in London. I know we will be coming back again. As there is limited places in the Bay that you can get good quality fish & chips, we found that this was a good option.

I went there today and I got what I normally get. However, I have not been there probably all year and I don’t know if the ownership has changed or not but my food was horrible. It had no taste. The fries were oily soggy and I paid like 40 something close to $50 for my order and they barely even came with fries and the fries they did I get were soggy from the oil from everything being on top of it. I also got the mushrooms which I normally get but for some reason these mushrooms were cut up instead of it being a whole mushroom, it was horrible. They were cooked too hard and my fish had no flavor to it. It was not worth my money at all. The only good thing was the customer service. There was good but everything that the food was horrible don’t do it. I’m really mad because I spent $14 on a quart of ice cream and when I opened it, it looks like someone already ate out of it. I will be bringing this back.

O.M.G., the individuals who work here are so amazing. The customer service is impeccable, and everyone is just as kind as they can be. Your food is cooked ONLY ONCE YOU ORDER IT, so it's never served cold. These people are not stingy with the portions, so you get a lot of food for a reasonable price. You can dine in doors or outside, and the server will bring your food out to you. This place is awesome ? and fish lovers will enjoy their meal.

There has been a change ownership. The fish was cooked to hard & pieces (COD) was half the size. I have been coming here for over eight years. Very disappointed.

Found out that H salt on San Pablo had been closed so being in town for the day from 5 hours away we figured this would be the best bet. We bet wrong, the owner was inside all the lights were off and they were doing repairs and told us that they would be open next Sunday.

Nice BIG MEATY fish fillet. During the lenten season, I've been eating nothing but fish. And this place gets an A+ good seasoning, not over cooked,, nice mild crunch but very meaty inside. They ran out of COD but the pollack was just as good. I'll most definitely come back. Their price is high BUT you get what you paid for. FRESH FISH done to perfection ?????
