I was happy to hear the El Sobrante KKC reopened and just returned home with my take out order. The fries were fresh and done perfectly but the chicken was so greasy that in the 3-5 mins to get home the paper bag it came in was completely soaked through and fell apart. It also wasn’t flavorful at all. The guy that served me was friendly and professional but I saw that he was working alone so maybe he was overwhelmed and couldn’t prepare the chicken to standard? KKC is good when prepared correctly—I may give them another try and hope it will be better.

Fresh, hot, crispy, delicious fried chicken. This place was always my go-to for fried chicken. Then it closed for a year or so. Now it's open again! Yahooooo! Best tasting, freshest, chicken. At the best pricing! Beats KFC, Popeye's and any other fried chicken place within a 10 mile radius.

VERY disappointed........ . We spent $50 here . We Ordered 20 parry wings half garlic / half crispy NO FLAVOR! Ordered jambalaya was mushy NO FLAVOR!! Fries didn't even have salt on them! Not crispy at all. 😔
