I was happy to hear the El Sobrante KKC reopened and just returned home with my take out order. The fries were fresh and done perfectly but the chicken was so greasy that in the 3-5 mins to get home the paper bag it came in was completely soaked through and fell apart. It also wasn’t flavorful at all. The guy that served me was friendly and professional but I saw that he was working alone so maybe he was overwhelmed and couldn’t prepare the chicken to standard? KKC is good...
Fresh, hot, crispy, delicious fried chicken. This place was always my go-to for fried chicken. Then it closed for a year or so. Now it's open again! Yahooooo! Best tasting, freshest, chicken. At the best pricing! Beats KFC, Popeye's and any other fried chicken place within a 10 mile radius.
After 2 years of being closed, the Appian Way location is back open for business. The food was hot and fresh and the customer service was on point per the usual. I was happy to be one of the first returning customer on re-opening day. Welcome back to the neighborhood.
