The carrot cake is honestly disgusting. The frosting just tastes like frozen butter and it’s supposed to be cream cheese frosting. Not sure how they could screw up something so basic but they did don’t buy it!

I ordered a dozen red velvet cupcakes with buttercream frosting, and they were amazing! I highly recommend this bakery!

I love that place, but I just walked away. I was there waiting and they attended two people that just walked in and didn’t even look at me.

I normally buy my cakes in San Francisco but trying to support local businesses. I had Maria’s cakes before and I figured to just order a cake for my birthday this time around.

I came in on Saturday to pick up my cake. They have 2 lines, one for pre order and one for walk ins. Being that it was EMPTY, I felt going straight to the cashier would be ok. Instead I got a snippy response from the guy behind the register letting me know that next time I would come in to go to the “pre order” line. At first I was like HUH? There is no one here, why does it matter? I also can read and understand English, I did see the sign, but again NO ONE WAS THERE. Afterwords it started to settle in. Why was his comment necessary? If I was standing in line of it would have been busy, I understand. But it wasn’t. It really boiled my blood that he said that, he must have some big ego to talk to people like that.

Well, you’ve lost a customer. I would rather go to another bakery than go back to Maria’s with their rude customer service!!

This place is great!
We got a 3 leches cake and was delicious. And they decorated very nicely too (for a baby shower) I did added the baby bear though (to make it look extra.) but all my guests had doubles and told me how delicious the cake was. I would really recommend them.

They were clear about any extra charges etc. so nice they told me about it before agreeing to anything.

One thing I didn’t like was that I had previously gotten a cake from them and the price has gone up (from 2 months apart.) and when I asked why they didn’t answer my question!

I understand prices for everything is going up, so it makes sense. But it would be nice to know in advance they’ll increase prices.

I had pumpkin cheesecake. Delicious. And all the prices were very reasonable. Especially given the current cost of things today. Nice to see a small business keeping cost down and succeeding.

The service and desserts are amazing they never disappoint. I've been a customer since I was a kid my mom would order my bday cakes and now as an adult I enjoy a delicious variety of there options.

I have enjoyed their cakes and exquisite desserts since 2006. What a shame they no longer take orders with cash payment. Thank you.
