Been here a few times, and each time the food has been great. I've tried their beef banh mi, egg rolls, spring rolls, calamari, chicken wings bun Bo hue and of course their pho. All have been pretty good, especially considering this is the ONLY local pho place that doesn't close super early when you need something warm and comforting after work. Notable highlights from the food- I must say, I've sampled some bun Bo hue all over the local area and this place is the best I've had without having to go all the way to Oakland. And even then, it's been just as good as some of the "famous" spots for bun Bo hue. The pho is always piping hot and they don't skimp on the meat!! They seem to hold the bowls in some kind of clay holder that keeps the soup warmer longer, which was a nice touch I've never experienced in a Vietnamese restaurant. Service, this is definitely a family restaurant of sorts and the waitresses/waiters are a little older and may need to be graced with some patience when you want to get their attention. But once you have it they're the absolute sweetest! Very kind and welcoming crew. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious with a few tvs to keep a single patron company while they wait for their meal, which never takes too long. All in all, this is a great stop to make when you don't want to travel too far for some good comforting food. I definitely plan on being a regular here!

It was rainy and chilly today and we decided to order lunch from Pho 1 through doordash. We got two different sandwiches, two vermicelli/chicken #26 (for dinner), and we split a large pho. Everything was just delicious. My beef sandwich was packed with crunchy veggies and beef. My husband loved his mixed meat sandwich. The pho was outstanding, with everything (meat, veggies, broth) packed separately. We have had the chicken vermicelli about 10 times, it is our favorite. The chicken is grilled to perfection, and the sauce makes everything sing. !!!! Please be aware the vermicelli dishes are traditionally served with the noodles at room temperature and hot grilled meat placed on top.

This place has been bought by Cam Hong on San Pablo Dam Rd. And now it's so full of customers! The five-star is for the BUN BO HUE and the service! It is sooooo gooooood! The shrimp paste is made with other flavors to it not just the mắm ruốc itself . Friendly staff and the owners I've known them for years and it's the best bun Bo hue I've had around here. The ambience is the same as what the last owner left it but it's open space high ceiling compare to the old restaurant they had at Cam

This place is now under new ownership. I used to frequent the previous. The restaurant setup & decor is basically the same. The menu has changed a bit. I walked in and was greeted cordially. The lady who took my order was very nice. It didn't take long for my food to be ready which was nice because I was very hungry. I picked up my order and the bottom of the bag felt cold. I thought perhaps the noodles cooled off my meat a bit. Thinking nothing of it, I drove away. I got to my destination in 5 minutes. When I opened the to-go box, the only item that was semi hot was the fried spring roll. There was lettuce (of course that was cold) under the noodles (that were cold) and the pork was also cold and a bit tough. I would have gone back and asked for a refund but I would have been late for my appointment. I was not a happy camper that day. Not sure yet if I plan to return.

Apparently they changed owners.. I had no idea until I came to pick up the food. I always order a side of rice with my pho to go for like $7 and when I go to pick it up they charged me $15 !! Same exact portion just in a a bigger container. No thanks Talk about jacking prices.. it's not even listed on the menu the guy just put it whatever price he wanted on the bill and didn't give me a legit itemized receipt

Really good pho with oxtails inside and a good portion of noodle . The broth itself is very clear, fresh and delicious .The garlic chicken wings are super tasty as well . And the spring rolls are super delicious with the sauce they provide . Definitely would recommend .

Under new ownership and they have redeemed themselves! The pho was hot, the appetizers, and fried rice were all good, fresh, and the quality is there. The interior and tables are clean. They're closed on Tuesdays and open on Thursdays. You can also go on pho1express.com to order takeout.

Pho is on point every time! Tried the Vietnamese coffee and it was perfect. Not too sweet, Very clean and quick service. New favorite :)
This use to be Phó Saigon and Grill #2. New name and management. I went to take out #1 Special combination consisting of oxtail, beef ball, brisket, tendon, tripe and rare steak. It mentioned "XL" in the menu which I construed as extra large. Anyway I get home and there is no way I can combine all the ingredients into the plastic bowl they provide so I just take a large bowl out of my kitchen cabinet and attempt to combine everything into it. I was able to get all the ingredients but not all the broth. I was dismayed of the temperature of the broth as being not hot enough. It took me eating half of the contents before I got the bright idea of nuking my bowl in the microwave, duh! Much better indeed. You got a fair share of meat in this meal but I was still hungry afterwards. To be fair I didn't drink but a small portion of the broth not that it was bad but I wanted to use it for another meal. The bill came to shy of $20.00. Phó is getting more expensive. 3 1/2 stars..........4 if the broth was hot.
