It is Christmas Eve Eve and I have the flu... I wanted some Pho through door dash. This used to be our go to place when they were Pho Saigon and Grill#2...they changed their name. Was hoping the food was the same. It was not. Ordered the Rare Steak and Brisket Pho and shrimp spring rolls. Door dash was quick. When I got the food though, it was cold. 2 pieces of Brisket and 4 pieces of rare steak. I had to microwave it a little to get it hot...they forgot to give me Hoisin sauce and Sriracha too... The spring rolls were ok but the peanut sauce was really runny. Not thick like before. Wow so the name Change may have meant owner and cook change... I'll go to Pho craze next time instead.

It was a late Saturday evening after a special event. I was kind of lost and wasn’t sure stopping for food was a good idea yet hunger had made a loud announcement while driving. A sudden frustration came upon me which forced me to turn off in an exit ramp and to search for grub. my usually goto place In-and-Out was super busy during this time. I saw the sign on a street and continued to head towards this Pho restaurant.
Service was excellent . The food came quite quickly. I ordered a pho noodle soup with beef and brisket and a side dish of shrimp wrap. Noodles were chewy with basil and bean sprout on the side. The side dish was the shrimp wrap with vegetables.
Overall, it was a quick meal with quick service. Prices were reasonable. Family came and ate at this restaurant as well.
Couldn’t find time to take fotos. Grab grub and left fairly quick.

Well made grilled beef sandwich. Larger than average which I'm not complaining about. Meet is tender. Flavor is right. Fresh ingredients. Give the new owners a try.

Updates since their closure (I believe new ownership?). This place now rivals places in San Jose imo. I didn't realize they opened :( Yelp has their updated photos 7 months ago and I'm sorry I hadn't discovered it sooner!
I tried their Seafood Beef Noodle Soup w/ egg noodles, so good!! Great sandwiches too! The photo doesn't do it justice. Good portions of fish cake, shrimp, squid and imitation crab plus got a cup of their fried chili oil for the ultimate depth of flavor in their already rich beef broth. Always egg noodles over rice noodles for me.
These remarks are already made with only a couple visits and I can't wait to try everything else on the menu!
Parking: Always spots available in the private lot. And when it does fill up, there's plenty of street parking.

(formerly Pho Saigon & Grill 2) ... now Sandwiches & express. An unfortunate decision made, but thankfully not by us. SO LONG PHO SAIGON. This establishment is not the same.

I enjoyed the combo meal number 35 that I had for lunch today at the Pho number one Express restaurant on Appian way. It included two pieces of fried chicken, 2 barbecued shrimp, 2 egg rolls, and a thin grilled pork chop a small salad plus a small bowl of dipping sauce. The bill came to $19.07 including tax but not including the tip.
Parking: They offered indoor dining as well as shaded outdoor dining.

Came here for Pho. Easy parking. Good service and clean. Pho was a-okay, not the best. Would I come back? Definitely.
