I went there about a week ago and I was impressed by their customer service. There was a guy who said he just moved to CA, he was super nice to us and helped us out any way possible. Ive always loved their food here but it always tastes better served with a smile :)

I ordered the #16 Grilled Chicken combo with shrimp and eggroll….EVERY BITE OF THE CHICKEN & NOODLES IS OIL.Nothing is grilled in this dish….Everything is Deep Fried and all the OiL WILL BE UNDER THE CHICKEN ALL OVER THE VERMICELLI…..YOUR VERMICELLI NOODLES WILL TASTE LIKE OIL…IF You can see, Nothing is really grilled…Just Unknown Chicken pieces curled up from the deep fryer.

This was at one time a great spot for a quick bite. I went last week and it was very disappointing! No one was there, so I asked the lady if they were open, she said yes, so I placed an order: 2 Bahn Mi sandwiches and a Pork Chop plate. Let me just say I was horrified when I walked outside to wait for my order to be processed, when I discovered the Health Department rating posted- they didn't pass in April and obviously they didn't pass for their re- inspection ...I was there July 15th......moving on: the sandwiches had the hardest bread ever: stale!, you had to notice while preparing the order. The pork was not the "pork chops " ordered, it was actually very tough pork; fatty, pork steaks .....false advertising at its finest.Not sure what happened to this establishment, but from the recent comments posted , it's very evident something has changed , and it's not a good look.
Just left this place and what a disappointment it was! Pork chop plate had DRY pork steaks inside of the pork chops I paid for, 2 pork Bahn Mi sandwiches with the HARDEST bread ever-clearly stale. No worries, as you’ve now lost another local customer. BTW had I noticed the failed Health Deposit visit hanging, I never would have entered the business. Do better by your paying customers next time!!

It's been awhile but man, I missed out! Food is fresh, delicious and a good value! Personally I ❤️ the bahn mi sandwiches! So good ? Overall this place is a neighborhood find, folks should come check it out, you'll leave full and satisfied!!!??

It is good to have a local Vietnamese restaurant in El Sobrante. I've had several dishes here and they are all good. My recommendations are the Pho and the Bun (vermicelli) dishes. I do come after heavy traffic hours so it helps as the owner is also the chef, I believe.My understanding is that pre-pandemic, they were bustling and now post-pandemic, they are needing your support and patronage.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Parking: Plenty of parking.
