Above and Beyond Cakes really did exceed my expectations!!! Even after ogling all their delicious creations on their website, I was STILL AMAZED when I laid eyes on the treats in the brick and mortar store.And my first bite of one of their cinnamon rolls? OMG.DELICIOUS!!!! I can't wait to challenge them with a custom cake. These people are VERY TALENTED CONFECTIONARY ARTISTS.Westmoreland is so lucky to have Mike's and Above and Beyond Cakes right down the road from each other! I look forward to discovering more gems the next time I'm home.

Alright - I'm reluctantly updating this review, but I'm still upset about how this was handled... My wedding was postponed in 2021, we ended up having to pay a fee due to having to cancel our order because of the Caldor fire almost burning our wedding venue down. I get that...we paid for the cost of the material's of the cake. We were told initially in 2020 via e-mail that we did not need to save the top of our cake as they would bake us a new cake for our one year wedding anniversary. How awesome is that?! Fast forward now to a little over a week ago. I reached out at the beginning of the month to fulfil getting our 1 year anniversary cake. I was advised that they moved out of the area but they could give us cookies instead...Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. This was for our 1 year anniversary - and IMO, that's a pretty big deal for most newly wed couples. I would have saved the top of my actual wedding cake had they not advised me that they would bake me a new one! Cookie's just aren't going to cut it. I get people have to move - I just feel that this could have been handled differently and I can't go back a year and save the top of my cake...so I'm at a loss and just very disappointed. As a last attempt to try and relive our wedding cake...I asked if they would be willing to give me the recipe so I could attempt to bake the cake myself. It's now been 22 days since I sent a follow, and at this point I can tell I'm being ignored.

I can't express enough how wonderful this place is. They did exactly what their name is..Above and Beyond. I ordered a cake for my grandson 2nd birthday and let me say not only was it what I orderedto an exact T but it was so delicious, but everyone was braging on it. Thx u for helping in making his birthday one to remember.

What an absolutely wonderful addition to Westmoreland! Cake pops, peanut butter cookies, strawberry cheesecake, blueberry roll, and cinnamon roll are what we purchased. Every single item was exceptional and fresh! You can tell by the heavenly flavor that they truly enjoy creating delicious baked goods. The prices were very reasonable. What a local gem this family owned business is! We'll support this business regularly!

Got 6 items from them today and I cannot say enough good things. The 2 pastries I got (diabetic friendly) were amazing. The strawberry champagne cup cake I got was devine and my picky 3 year old ate all but 2 bites. The Nutella cupcake was sooo sweet and my son ate most of that one too. ?♀️ The cake pop was so moist and in my opinion better than where I usually get them (corporate coffee place iykyk ?) They also had pineapple water and it was picky 3 year old approved as well! 100/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back! ❤️

The cake was amazing! They made a design based on pictures of my dress and it was so beautiful! Not only was it beautiful, it tasted amazing! We did 3 different flavors and got so many compliments!
