I’ve been coming to bobs for almost 8 years. I’ve never been a steady patron there since I don’t care to drink but when invited I’ll come out as I’m also always Designated Driver to make sure my friends make it home safe. Alan, the owner Vito’s son, had told me a few months ago that if I didn’t buy alcohol I would be 86’d. I’m completely thinking he’s joking as I buy friends alcohol and I always make it a point to grab a non alcoholic drink or two and tip the bar tenders very well as i felt it was right because i was in a establishment that depends on people buying drinks to keep the lights on. On Friday I showed up for the first time in months and I ended up getting kicked out for no reason at that moment. Confused and upset I hit them up on Facebook asking questions to why. They completely changed the reasoning to I got kicked out because of who my friends are and because I go to my car every once in a while to check my blood sugar and get embarrassed doing it in public. The only person I go to bobs with is not 86d. I tried talking it out with them but all I got was lies from them. 86d or not I won’t spend my money with an establishment that is ok with their patrons driving home under the influence. I have never not once caused an issue or disturbance there. This is disgusting behavior. I’ve never had an issue with any staff there. Tony is such a great bartender there and I’m sad he won’t be serving me anymore. Tony is the only reason I have the place 2 star rating or I wouldn’t of even gave them a 1 star rating.

Favorite Bar in Elk Grove, great service, perfect to grab a drink and play some pool- large back patio. They even provide pizza/ wings!! Definitely swing by for a good time 🍻

Bartenders are fantastic and attentive. Food is non existent here but there is free popcorn. Good prices on alcohol and beer. Doorman/bouncer can seem like an ass but he's just doing his job, show him respect and you won't have any problems. Overall good place to go when you have nowhere else to be.

Im on a tour of all the nightlife in elk grove, I stopped by boobs for the first time in 1o years. First of all, Michelle (bartender) is the nicest person you'll meet all day. 3 pool tables and a dart board... music is cool. Crypto isn't welcome here, cash only! I only wish I had a Flintstones emoji 🦴 prices are decent tho!

i read one of the comments that servers are raciest, i was there a year ago, i walked in the door and the guy told me they are not serving without me being asking anything. i never went back.
Stopped by after running errands in the area over the weekend. Met up with some friends who attend regularly. Out of the blue the bartender tells a friend (who happens to be African American) that she was no longer serving him. This was totally unprovoked. All the guy was doing was having a friendly conversation. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RACIST. Apparently this place is known fro being RACIST. We definitely won't be going back.
