Lovely little restaurant in Old Elk Grove. The space is in a small cottage very beautifully rehabbed fir a cozy, intimate dining experience. The menu is small and seasonal, service flawless. Lovely meal and the croissant bread pudding for dessert was stellar. The only stumble was the French press coffee; there was very little flavor as if it hadn't steeped enough before serving. Note rhe restaurant does not have a full bar.
Excellent service, food was outstanding and is a step ahead of any restaurants in Elk Grove area. The dishes were well presented. Been going here for years and will return.
Great place for special occasions. The food is amazing, and the service is outstanding. They always have a good wine selection.
The perfect start to the Christmas week. We both got the filet (me = medium rare; he = rare). And yes! Both Perfect. The deviled eggs were delish (add the pickled red onion on top!). And the salads (wedge, Asian pear) were tasty and complimented our meals well. Ended the evening with French press coffee and the croissant bread pudding. Portions are nice and service is on point. I don't remember the last time I had such a good, quiet, romantic dinner at this neighborhood gem.
Food was outstanding. Beef marrow was the best I have had. Asian pear salad was a delight, as was the crème brûlée. Best coffee better. I did not enjoy the glass of sparkling wine, however. Sent it back after having a couple of swallows & trading it out for Sauv blanc,. Was surprised to see that I was still billed for it.
Excellent service with the primary server and three other servers! Food ( duck, salmon, and steak) cooked well and delicious. Wine was great too! Our fourth time to dine here over the last 2 years. Highly recommended for special occasions.
Food and restaurant atmosphere were outstanding. First time visitor to this place. I always frequent the fish and chips place across the street. Can't believe that I haven't taken advantage of this place for the past 19 years, I have lost time to make up for. Quality and service of the place is top notch! I'll be back!
What a wonderful evening. The food was delicious, I had the swordfish and my husband had the braised lamb shank. We also ordered the special small plate appetizer. Service was perfect and so enjoyable to be in such a lovely dining room. We will be back!!
We love Boulevard Bistro! It was an early birthday dinner! Had my meal figured out and then heard the specials and completely changed my mind. Baked Brie with pomegranates and chicken with green beans, mashed potosi with mushroom reduction. So, so good! Hubby likes EVERYTHING and has a tough time deciding. He originally said lamb but when the waiter double checked his order he changed it to duck. And was very pleased. We paired it with Christopher Cellars Cinsault Rose. Perfect with both of our dinners. We love Boulevard Bistro and will be back.
Been here a few times already. Always excellent food and service! You have to try it at least once. I'm hooked!

Food is amazing! Service is another level. We are lucky to have this restaurant in Elk Grove. Would definitely come here again.
The food was good and the service attentive. But the prices are more in line with four star food.
We have gone to Boulevard Bistro many times over the years. Have always enjoyed the experience. Plan to go again.
Boulevard Bistro is one of our go-to places for special occasions. The setting in what used to be a private residence is beautifully unique, their food is always delicious, and their service is consistently excellent. And while their drink selection is also quite good. we regularly bring our own bottle of wine pay the $25 corkage fee.
