I went here with my son yesterday to try it out for the first time. My son had the Butcher's burger and I had the BBQ bacon burger. We both shared their Strawberry shake. Both burgers were pretty good and juicy..it's a little sad that they didn't come with fries and that you have to order it separately. That reminded me of the In & Out restaurant. I was anticipating that the burgers were going to be a little bit bigger but I guess because there was no fries surrounding them that it made them look a little smaller. Any how...newby mistake....I'll tell you what though...I wish I got another milkshake and didn't share because it was one of the best I've had...The service was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was mostly clear of the smoke from when you first come in. You'll definitely be hungry by the time you get there because it's a little hidden in the very back of the casino. Remember: order french fries..lol..and don't share anything...it's that good!

Butcher’s Burger at Sky River Casino is one of my favorite burger joints. They have the best burgers in town. The best I like is the BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger. It is so delicious! The dining room for Butcher’s Burger is quiet and comfortable. The customer service rep in the casino will stop by to ensure you enjoy the food. I've been here twice !! The first time i went, i ordered the turkey burger, which was good but not amazing. When you desire a burger, you just need a traditional beef burger . However, the service by cashier Angelina made this place amazing ! The second time, I definitely ordered the traditional one patty cheeseburger . My boyfriend ordered the bacon double burger, which was huge. We requested grilled onions added, which made it even more tasty. As the fries are a separate order and a large serving, we shared 1 order, which was plenty . Next time, I will request some Cajun salt to be sprinkled on my burger for a little more flavor. One of the servers was making a strawberry shake for another patron and had leftovers and placed it in a small cup and gave it to me garnished with whipped cream and a cookie. I thought that was a sweet touch, no pun intended. The food here is delicious, the service is outstanding, and I definitely recommend it for burger lovers.

This place is consistently delicious the ambiance in this casino gives off Vegas vibes for sure. The service is always great and the food is absolutely delicious. I've eaten here three times and every single time the hamburger is cooked to perfection. French fries are absolutely delicious, crunchy fresh, and the chocolate shake is amazing!!! If you're looking for a fast, delicious place to eat lunch or dinner, you have to try this place out.

A solid burger and fries at the "food court" in Sky River Casino. The Mrs. and I have tried most of the spots in the food court and Butcher's Burger is a regular stop. Both the burger and fries are generous. A single order of fries can easily cover two people. The cheeseburger is good to very good for $7. Only critique is sometimes both the burger and fries can be on the salty side. So if you are sensitive to salt, it may not be the best choice.

After having two stiff drinks at the River Bar, I was in need of some food to soak up the alcohol. If you read my review for the casino, you know by now that I was excited to check out Butcher's Burger. A few months ago I did a search for the best burger spots in Elk Grove and Butcher's arrived at the top of the results. However, I could not justify driving to the casino to solely have a burger; therefore, I was excited when an opportunity presented itself to hangout with friends at the casino. When I arrived at Butcher's Burger (located inside of the casino's food court) I was greeted by a decent-sized line. However, the employees were super-efficient and I quickly found myself at the front of the line. Since I was anticipating this visit, I had my order ready...the BBQ Bacon Burger (next time I will order the BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger) and fries. Esa (the cashier/server) was extremely personable and made me feel like a friend whom she just happened to be serving. I can confirm that the establishment lives up to it's near-perfect Yelp reviews. The burger was bursting with flavor, did not have any dry spots, and was on a quality bun that held up as I devoured the burger. The fries were not only plentiful (I pray that they continue to be this generous), but well-seasoned. I already plan on bringing my wife, whom is what I like to call a burger enthusiast, here to experience this appetizing, delectable, yumminess (yes I'm using all of the descriptive words)!

I am basing this on my last visit. I've been coming here at least 2-3 times a month and the burger joint has NOT been consistent. I too thought they had the best burger hands down but it now depends on who's working the grill. There is only 1 person who's consistent when cooking and assembling the burger and that is the only time I will eat there now. They also make sure you get hot and fresh French fries with your hot and fresh burger.I will update when I get his name.Suffice it to say, if an Asian female is working the grill, you will get a dried,overcooked, old reheated patty-disgusting, and double cooked reheated French fries-AWFUL.

I wish I've taken photos, but the burgers here are a bang for your buck. For a $12 combo, you get a drink burger and a lot of fries! A LOT of fries lol. Ordering is easy, food is quick, and plenty of seating. Burgers are juicy, and we love their fries. (Lol) definitely a must try while in the casino.

There are many excellent restaurants in Sky River Casino. Butcher's Burger is one of them. The burgers here are very delicious. I can taste the BBQ flavor, and the ground beef is very juicy. The buns are high quality and fresh. The seasoning french fries are so yummy, and the portion is very generous. The cashier and the kitchen employees are working hard and friendly. I like their dining area. It is quiet and comfortable. You don't feel you're in a casino--no cigarette smoke in the area.

These burgers are a great size and pack lots of flavor. Perfectly cooked, love the sauce and pickles. Bun was not to soft to soak up the juices and get soggy and not to hard to enjoy. Fries are very tasty as well. The strawberry shake was delicious and huge. Service was quick and everyone was very nice. The ambiance was clean, beautifully decorated.

Sunday, 9/10/2023 - Checked out Sky River casino in Elk Grove, Ca. Our first time at this casino. We ate at Butcher's Burger in the casino. Turned out pretty good! Burgers were large and juicy. So good. Juice dripping everywhere from it. I asked for a side of avacado in the burger. It's like $2.00 extra. Eek! But yummy regardless. Fries were fries. Lol. But I liked the seasoning they had on it. Their strawberry shake was perfect! All was really good. Restaurant was clean. Tables clean. Utensils, napkins, drinks are self serve on a counter.
