I ordered The Breakfast Burger at this Carl’s Jr location this morning. It is the Best Breakfast I have ever had at any fast food restaurant hands down. The employee at the drive thru is extremely nice. I would say this Carl’s Jr location is the best I’ve been to.

Nov10 2025 at 12:15 Hispanic that took our order was extremely rude and bothered we were there to have lunch place was empty I wonder why! Asian that came to give us our food was very nice , food was hot customer service at the counter not so much !

I gave this location several tries but I think i'm done. Not only I think the food isn't cooked in fresh oil, but everytime I go, they always act like I'm there to scam them. They always say they dont have my order, always try to give me the wrong size of drinks, and act like they don't want my business. If I'm paying 18+ bucks for a burger and couple sides and drinks I sort of expected my order to be correct. Usually it's an older lady with bad attitude and I was ready to deal with her, but it's an older man with attitude today. Never again. Lol

THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD.
First, I asked for my fries to be extra crispy, they were old. NEXT, they told me they were out of ice. I get it. That's fine. BUT they were also out of BBQ sauce for the chicken tenders and LASTLY when I arrived home, they're forgot one of my burgers!!!! AFTER ALL OF THE INCONVENIENCES I experienced they STILL managed to forget a A WHOLE BURGER!!!! I'm sure if I had gone back, they'd argue with me about not forgetting it!!! YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!!
Went through drive through on a Saturday afternoon around 2ish. No wait, no line! Very polite. I feel like we waited about the appropriate time it would take to make 2 burgers, fries, jalapeno poppers and a shake.

I pull up here 2–3 times a week, food’s always fire when the right people are on. I always get 2 Spicy’s, never had an issue. Yesterday though… straight up worst experience. The older lady at the counter had the nastiest attitude. She rang me up at $11+ for the same order I always get on the 2 for $6 deal. When I asked about it, she hit me with “you have to ask for it” in the rudest way. Like c’mon, no need to act like that. The two dudes that work nights? Solid guys, super chill and always take care of the order. But that lady? Nah, she shouldn’t even be up front if she can’t treat people right.

This place is a hit or miss, it just depends on who’s working. Some days there’s rude workers then other days the workers are super nice 🤷🏻♀️ like one time they didn’t allow me to use the woman’s restroom and told me to use the men’s restroom, they didn’t give me a reasoning but yeah it’s a hit or miss
This Carl's Jr the worst to go to has lady asks me to wait a sec fine she having a conversation with her co worker leavin tbe mic on comes back asks what i want i answer mid eay she says one sec and starts talkin to her coworker again comes bsck again i repeated my order 3 times nd she still got it wrong you ask to get things removed they dont do it not even a will you like sauce on the side nope just hand you your food nd close the window walk away i perfer to drive down to the one by Americas tires atleast i get good service there

I had one of the worst customer service experiences at this location. From the moment I drove up to the drive thru , the clerks were dismissive, barely acknowledging me, and when they finally did, they were rude and impatient. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer.
Management was no better—completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and lacking even basic customer service skills. On top of that, communication was a mess. Their English was poor, making it frustrating to get clear answers to simple questions. Instead of trying to assist, they seemed annoyed by my presence.
This level of service is unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and professionalism should be a given, not an afterthought. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they improve drastically

I sat in the drive thru for over 4 minutes waiting for my breakfast order to be placed. I came to the window and even honked but nobody came. They were open for over an hour at this point no other orders. I had to come inside waited again for 3 min as an employee saw me and said nothing. The general manager finally comes out after the employee goes to get him and doesn’t apologize for the wait offer comp or anything to fix it. This was a horrible experience and I see why it has so many bad reviews in the Elk Grove community. Needs serious work on their customer service.

Let me start by saying that the Carl's Jr on Kettleman in Lodi, California has the best staff. Oh my goodness we were greeted at the door with a friendly "Welcome in. How are you today?" The restaurant was spotless, and everybody was busy cleaning or cooking, but they still had time to be polite and friendly. I've only had a few good experiences in this town with customer service, and those are the places I'll go back to even if the food was mediocre.
We tried the El Diablo and The Hangover Burger. They were okay but they weren't great. The Diablo Burger had a lot of jalapenos which I really enjoyed, but there was no cheese and the meat was a little dry. The habanero sauce had no spice way too much mayonnaise and there was way too much of it on my burger. The Hanover Burger was disappointing, it had paper thin bacon, little hash browns that fell out of the burger as you ate it and a fried egg that was way over fried. Nothing special. So will I order the Diablo Burger again? Sure, but I'll ask for cheese and the sauce on the side. The hangover Burger isn't served anymore which is fine. We'll go back to our standard guacamole burger.

I am very frustrated with the Carl's app because it never works correctly and I didn't get credit for my purchase. However, that has nothing to do with the location I went to. The employee inside the location was great and was very helpful and accommodating! ?

I was asked to pull forward to wait for my meal, to then only be brought half my meal. I responded, as I heard them drop more fries and tell me they were coming shortly that my first meal will be cold by the time the second part of it arrives. Response from the employee, not really!
They claim to be super busy with no one in the drive-through, not sure why they chose to lie to me when I clearly heard them drop the fries after I asked where the rest of my food was. It’s very disappointing that California raises the wages and yet the competency level is allowed to stay at an all-time low. It’s also sad that we have no standard accountability, training, or teaching our staff to provide excellent customer service.
I’m sad that my daughter likes this restaurant or I would not give them my business; I have not had one good experience here to date.
