I remember when Carpenters first open and it’s been amazing seeing them grow more and more. Coffee and food is awesome. Sometimes the coffee can be overly sweet so maybe ask for half sweet. I really enjoy their avocado toast and scones. The guy with glasses and baseball cap is really sweet, I believe he’s the owner?? Elle is also very kind and sweet.
Only time I had a small bad experience was from two other individuals there. They seem unhappy and not wanting to be there. I even come during less busy times and they still have this tone that I’m bothering them. But besides that, everything else is amazing and delicious.

We arrived one minute after closing, staff helped people in front of us but would not make a us a latte. I guess they don't need the business.

First timer here ! Place is super cute. I got their pumpkin spice iced latte . I would have to say it’s not the best I’ve tried . The syrup was a lot and hard to taste the quality of the coffee . I wish I would have known this or I would have asked for less sweet . It was hard to finish it since it was super strong with the flavoring

This is an awesome little coffee shop! Elk Grove is definitely missing good craft coffee that isn’t overly pretentious or excessively sweet. These guys nailed it. Perfect blend of crowd favorites and barista specials. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes coffee of any kind!

The place small, but amazing, atmosphere amazing, service great staff friendly can not beat it. The food hands down. Drink. 10 stars if I could. So 4 total stars. Suspense. Right. The size of the cup. I got the large, and the large is the grande at Starbucks for the same price. I really wish it was bigger, I would even pay for a bigger cup. Like I said, everything it was good. I just wish bigger cup.

I got a white mocha, I believe . I had gone to sit down and had to get up the second I sat down cause they had my drink ready. It was very sweet. .

Good coffee

Cute little coffee spot. Downside is they don't do drip or pour over coffee if they are out, even though they sell the beans a few inches away.....

My wife and I go here regularly during our walk. Their coffee is good. We found rewards system where you get a star for every transaction (5 stars = free bakery item and 9 starts = free coffee), not how much you pay for each transaction. This means if you spend $100 in one transaction, you still get 1 star.

I had 4 stars after my wife bought a coffee. So, I bought another coffee to get 5 stars to get the free bakery item.

This is when the customer service was poor. I asked the person if I made him upset because his demeanor changed. He explained that they don't want multiple transactions in a short period of time like some people abusing the system by doing multiple transactions.

Thier reward system is setup that way, and many people get 1 star for a few drinks in one transaction. And this is still not an excuse to make the customers feel bad about using the reward system.
